In general, avoid using essential oils. Except for lavender, they don't seem to blend very well into juice.

I thought using anything oil based was a big no no?? Isn't it meant to be really bad for the atomizers?? Thats why I avoid using any oil based concentrates.

Essential oils are (generally) different - it seems that "oil" refers to something like what a flavor might be cut with, such as olive oil. And, I don't use more than one or two drops for 4 ml of juice.

I vaped with several blends for several weeks that had EOs added to them, and didn't notice any change in the attys.

In any case, I've noticed the EOs seem to break down and either make the juice nasty bitter, or the flavor disappears altogether.

So... given that, plus my recent discovery of a local store selling many flavors of Lorann, I'm not planning on using EOs in my mixes any more.

Cool :) I have used the Lorann's lemon oil with no problem. For the Lorann's, I use more than a few drops, but it's still a very small percentage of the overall, maybe 5%, especially if it is one of their oils and not flavorings.

I normally add 1 drop of lorann's flavor for every 1ml of liquid. So if I make a 5ml batch i droop 5ml of extract in it.

Have you tried cutting an oil based flavor with PGA or Vodka instead of H2O?

Yeah, I started doing that a few recipes ago. I've found that Everclear works excellently.
