1. 7 weeks.. success!

    by , 07-28-2010 at 02:58 AM
7 weeks, and absolutely no desire to go back to analogs. It's been 13 months since I started e-cigs. Heh.. it only took me 11 months to finally drop the analogs.

I've become a lot more open about vaping in public, though I still keep it hidden some places. And the bathroom makes a great last resort.

I noticed that me and my husband both require 30 mg strength to kill cravings for analogs. I've been able to drop it down to 24 at home and 20 everywhere else, but ...

  2. Supporting ECF

Meh.. my one-year subscription as a supporting member is about to run out.. and I can't afford to renew. Hopefully after graduation and getting a full-time job I can do so again. This site has been (and continues to be) extremely informative about all things e-ciggy.

I'm very grateful that I'll still be able to continue as an unpaid member.

  3. Cleaning atties

This is more for my reference. It's based off this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/experiments-equipment/35917-sattecs-atty-cleaning-test-thread.html and various other threads suggesting using denture cleaner tabs.

Blow out the dirty atties.
Put atties in a small glass and add enough Crest Pro-health Blue to cover them (optionally, mouthpieces may be added).
Gently shake the glass about 15 minutes - think of icecubes in water. ...

  4. Finally cigarette-free

    by , 06-13-2010 at 05:52 PM
Here in Utah, per-pack cigarette tax will be going up 2 or 3 bucks starting July 1.

It was the final motivation I needed to make the total switch to e-cigs.

I'm discovering how much I now hate the taste of analogs, and the thought of smoking one makes me go "ew".

It also convinced my sweetie to begin the switch to e-cigs. Thanks,

  5. Vaping while sick

    by , 04-29-2010 at 09:23 PM
... so much better than smoking.

I get the nicotine fix without adding to the sore throat (or inhaling the poisons that seem to make the illness last longer). It's lovely to not be jonesing for nicotine while I'm sick.

I remember one time my husband was smoking while he had bronchitis (yep, addiction makes us do stupid things). It was developing into pneumonia.

Vaping definitely seems to help avoid that.
