Well, for starters, my name is Ben, as I am sure you have already guessed, and I have been smoking now for around 10 years. During this time I have picked it up and quit many times with no problems or residual cravings. At my highest point a few years ago, I was smoking a pack a day at least and sometimes more and when I decided to quit (because of a job change) I just stopped smoking and didnt have any problems. Where I am at right now, I usually smoke 6-15 "analogs" a day and I know I need to stop but I just don't want to. I've always smoked because I enjoyed it. I like to play with the smoke and listen to the tobacco burn... not gonna lie, love the nicotine too, but its always been more of a secondary reason to smoke. SO, all of this just to say that I am hoping the E-Cigarette will FULLY replace my desire to smoke.
My First Order
On May 7th, 2009 I ordered my first PV (personal vaporizer) from JantyUSA. After doing a little research and forum lurking, I had decided on an NPRO but due to their lack in product (thanks to the FDA) I had to look elsewhere if I wanted to try these e-cigs out. Then I saw the Mini Fogger from Janty and it was love at first sight. I know that the reviews for this thing arent amazing, but it seems the biggest gripe is battery life, and I am not planning on smoking this thing for 3 hours straight so I am not too worried about having to charge the batteries up every night. So, that afternoon I decided to take the plunge and I ordered it and 5 more carts from JantyUSA, 5 days later I finally received a shipping confirmation that my product was on its way. Overall, a decent turn around time, but I would have liked it to be sooner.
What I'm Expecting
I really am hoping this is similar to smoking hookah. I have been a hookah smoker for the last 3-4 years and I really love having tons of flavor and tons of smoke to play with, and I get the feeling that both of these are possible using a PV and DIY liquids (which I am in the process of getting the ingedients for). I figure at first, I'll use juice with nicotine in it, but i really plan on eventually just enjoying the flavor and vapor without the drug content. All this said, I still havent actually held a PV in my hand and pulled vapor. All I have to go off of are the many many many videos on YouTube and reviews and advice from forum members.
In Closing
I still havent received my Mini Fogger and I cant really decide yet if this will be my end-all-beat-all, but I do have a lot of hope for it.
