why do i go through liquid faster with a 2.5ohm coil head?

when i bought my kanger MT3S it came with a 2.2ohm coil head and a tank full of liquid literally lasted all day. i finally had to replace the coil head so i popped in one of my 2.5ohm heads since i bought a 5 pack of those when i bought the tank and the liquid didn't last nearly as long. why does the liquid not last as long if im using a 2.5 ohm head?

Have you noticed more vapor with the 2.5 head? There's only one place for the juice to go unless the new head is leaking. So my guess is the mod is applying a bit more power to the 2.5ohm head (as it should), and the head might also wick better than the 2.2 head (these are all hand assembled and vary in performance) ... so if it's getting a bit more power, is wicking a bit better, and the vapor production is a bit more, that translates to the juice disappearing a bit sooner. The better all those things are working (wicking/vapor) the faster the juice disappears.

EDIT: If there is no more vapor and it's not leaking, then I'd bet there IS more vapor and you just don't realize it, because again, the juice can only leak or go up in vapor.

EDIT 2: Btw this brings up a good point... I built 1.5-1.9 ohm coils and they don't produce the same amount of vapor as the 2.2-2.4 coils I build, even with adjusted power. I'm sure a lot of it depends on the mod you're using and all, so am certainly not implying this is any kind of absolute. Just saying in my experience I prefer 2.2-2.4 or even up to 2.6ohm heads because they just perform best for me, delivering the most vapor and flavor. I'd rather use a little more power and get that heavy production/flavor. (Now on my dripper 1.6-1.9ohm heads can deliver big, but for the PT2 and Aro pyrex tanks I have, I prefer the former.) Also get more flavor with a standard coil rather than a micro-coil... don't know why. But we each have to try many things then stick with what we like best, and that won't be the same thing in most cases. :) If you like the 1.8-2.2ohm heads, then get them. (Don't throw out your other heads as you can rebuild them to be 1.8-2.2.)
