My Supplier Experiences

I have dealt with several suppliers now. I have left reviews of some of them here and there, but I just wanted to have all in one place, my own thoughts of each.

InnoVapor: This was my first supplier I ordered my Joye510 starter kit from. They were just getting started when I ordered from them. Shipping was fast, a slight problem was solved very quickly, communication was excellent. They sell ECOpure, a VG based liquid, and I can't find anyone else to get this from in the USA. It is UK made. For this reason alone, InnoVapor will be on my long term supplier list. I like the ECOpure alot. I placed a second order, and due to a few of us happy customers, Innovapor suddenly was drowned in new orders. My second order took a while longer to get, but again it arrived complete, and all was well. Now they are having some issues regarding some possible "knock-off" atty's. I have 4 of these. I like them for the most part, but they do leak. Older carts fit loose on them, newer carts fit better. They are great for dripping IMHO as the bridge is a bit higher. They are supposedly rated for 30,000 burns as opposed to the regular 510 atty's that are rated for 10,000. I don't really know. If they don't perform to my liking I know that InnoVapor will take them back and replace them. Sooo, all I have to lose is a little time checking out something new. I'm not one to say I don't like something before I try it. Knock off or not, I want to see for myself.

As hard as I tried to find one supplier that could give me everything I wanted, I couldn't find one.

Totally Wicked: My first and only order so far from TW was for a 510 Passthrough, and a bottle of 36 mg flavorless juice. This is a PG based juice, and had read favorable reviews. I have some chornic health issues, and concerned I will react to PG, so I wanted to make sure and get one of good quality. I bought this specifically to mix my own juices, and intended to also cut it down with VG and distilled water. So far, so good. Anyway, my order came packed well, shipping was quick, and the price was great. I posted a short review. I did not get as much of a personal touch as I did with Noah from IV. I can't comment on communication. Even from my little review, I got no response from TW I don't think. I'll have to go back and check I guess...but I don't recall. It's probably not real fair for me to compare every supplier to the one I chose first, but I guess everything is perspective, based on our own experiences, and that being said, bare with me :)

PureSmoker: I have ordered a Prodigy, and a PT for my 510. I can't wait til it arrives. I can't say much more about this other than PS seems to be keeping everyone well informed of it's shipping and production.

Rocky Mountain Vapor: This is another new guy on the block, and I had heard good things. I placed an order on 7/23, and received it today. I purchased 5 atomizers for my 510. I wanted to see the difference between another supplier's atty's and IV's. With my Prodigy coming, I figured I can't have to many atomizers. I posted a review of what I got, but, just quickly I received 5 really wet leaky atty's in bubble wrap. I made a suggestion that they use a ziploc bag lined with paper towel if they will ship atty's wet like this, as USPS most likely will not be happy if the package leaks. The atty's were all in good shape, and I'm using one right now! Shipping was free and fast, parts come first class mail, not priority and no delivery confirmation, but was still fast to PA.

The Widow: I have heard for months how wonderful and fast The Widow ships. She has a closeout deal with a case, a car charger, a lanyard, and a 510 starter kit for $55. I decided to give it a go. I placed an order today, and I'll have to let you all know what happens next.

It came: I placed my order on Monday, 7/27, and it arrived today 7/30. Everything was packed well, nothing was missing, and this was the first order from anywhere that I got a 510 starter kit in an actual box! Not that it matters that much, but, it's a nice box, and I like to re-use such things for storage!

The starter kit includes a manual, but The Widow also includes helpful information, and instructions. Very nicely done. Her batteries don't have LED's on them which is nice as there are times I don't want to draw the attention of others.

In all of this, I have not had one bad experience. Each of these suppliers has their strengths and weaknesses but I would order from all of them again. I did spend alot of time cheering on InnoVapor. I'm not affiliated with them, but you know, I got something with them I got from no one else...direct and personal communication. I was impressed, and I didn't mind saying so. When they had trouble due to an influx of orders, shipping issues, and stock problems, I did come to their defense. I didn't ever say anything untrue, I just wanted people to know that there were positive's about this supplier. I also never bashed another supplier. I couldn't possibly, as at the time, I'd only ordered from InnoVapor!

Anyway, just wanted to set the record straight on that.

I think most of the suppliers that are on ECF are genuinely interested in providing a positive experience for their customers.

Aside from these suppliers, I have purchased some supplies for making my own VG based juice. Again no issues whatsoever with anyone! I purchased plastic drip bottles from USplastics.com. I purchased blue glass bottles from candlechem.com, I purchased Lorann's flavorings from Betty's Country Grocery, and some pipettes from seedman.com.

Puresmoker: I ordered a Prodigy and a PT from Puresmoker. As everyone knows there's a bit of a wait to get this stuff...but it was completely bearable. I've had this stuff for a while now, just haven't had a chance to post. Everything was delivered in good shape. I love both of these! I haven't had any trouble at all, except for batteries not charging enough in the charger. Nothing more to say really, I had no need for any communication as the communication on the forum was enough to keep everyone up to date. Very Happy with Puresmoker and my goodies.
