Carlyawesome vs. The Bar Scene

I never leave my house.....ever. Obviously going to work and buying delicious food items don't really count, but socially I don't do things. I have huge social anxiety issues so recreational journeys into the outside world are seldom and usually pretty similar to natural birth on a pain scale for me. However, yesterday was a friends birthday, I didn't have to work today, I just got paid and the stars aligned into the perfect combination of conditions that would make me willing to go out and party. It was rad! I have the alcohol tolorance of a newborn baby combined with the memory span of a late stage alzheimers patient so I was a little concerned that at some point in the night I would forget that I quit smoking, so I prefilled a bunch of tanks and packed up all my spare batteries in case I vaped the same way I smoked when I drank. I put all of them in a case and tied it firmly to my wrist so I would know where it was. IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!! I felt like a genius. The closest I came to smoking was holding someone's cigarette so they could double high five the birthday boy, and that got me tackled by one of my employees who thought my memory had slipped. I think 90% of the bar tried out my pv, several even asked for websites where they could go to get more info. So six hours and three tanks later hopefully there are a few more converts out there, and minus all the seemingly mandatory drunk hugs, having my face licked and being tackled to the ground the score stands at bar scene: 0 , carlyawesome:1.

Yay for carlyawesome! I hardly go out socially, either, but now I won't be as worried. Great blog.
