I was born on November 9, 1960, on a Wednesday. Tuesday, the day before my birth, John F. Kennedy had just been elected. My Mom makes the joke that she asked her Doctor who he voted for before she let him deliver me. As it was, they had to break my clavical (somewhere on your neck) to get me out as I was a stubborn child. I loved it so much in there, I did not want to come out and play!
I looked over to how many blog entries I have done here and it said 51. So, now it will be 52 and I have a few months before November to catch up to my age with the blogs. Not that the 2 have anything in common.
There were 2 times I wrote the greatest blogs in the World (at least I though so) and somehow, I got timed out and they were lost. Lost treasures that ECF will never know and boy... I don't remember. Don't get old!!
I do want to just recap my last lost blog that was only a few days ago. I was speaking about how I got started in vaping with NJoy on July 23, 2009. Since this 3 year anniversary of vaping and giving up a 30 year 1 pack a day smoking habbit, it is only fitting that I give homage to the "God of Vape."
I did not quit cigarettes. I rolled my own for the last 5 years I smoked as I loved the smell of raw tobacco. I still do. Problem is that when you burn it, the taste is burnt, not like the smell of the raw product.
$300 of NJoy stuff arrived that day in 2009. I put a cartridge onto the "Lookalikeey" bat and a drop of juice got on my tounge. I got scared and thought, this should not happen and now I will die of nicotine poisoning. Next I thought of how great the taste was. Next I did not feel like having a cigarette and ... to this day from that time, still have not. Why is taste so important to me? I'll tell you... I don't know! But the smell was the same as the taste of the juice in that cartridge. I never have looked back and have an arsenal of vape stuff just in case of a nuclear holocaust.
I love vaping, I love my health that has improved to the point of my lungs being totally clear as if the 30 year pack a day smoking habbit never happened.
I hope that before I leave this Planet, that everyone who smokes cigarettes will at least know of this "Vape" thing. I also feel sorry for the new people who did not get a good start. Had I just stayed with the NJoy, that would have never satisfied my "Hobby" urges. I thought they were the only Company in the World making e-cigs.
So, I will end with this: Anyone who reads this that is not new, just talk to a smoking friend and tell them how this is. Tell them the whole picture so that they don't try 1 thing, say it is bad and then quit. That person will now "Poison the well" of others and miss out on what could be.. and is for me, the greatest hobby of my life.
