I thought about sharing this on a thread I started but the old blogger in me is saying, nope, share it here...so here is a 30 day update into this new adventure of vaping and being smoke free.

Just a little update as it is approaching the thirty day mark now and really becoming more set on never, ever smoking another cigarette again! Both my partner (DBF) and I have enjoyed this journey so far. He informed me the other night he went outback for a smoke (I knew before he said anything cause I could smell it) that he has finally gotten to the point where he can no longer stand it.
Having dropped a chunk of change since we started, we decided we wanted to see just how much the pocket book saves, so for October we choose to not spend any more funding on supplies other then an order of stock nic juice so we can start making own juices in case the inevitable should occur...along with finally fixing the lathe for fun projects to share...
I am not entirely sure who is going to have a harder time with this challenge...me or him as he is just now exploring this "vaping/being smoke-free adventure" ... besides he is really getting into finding some good juices.
To further his interest, He just refinished an old box for steeping and thus a little humorous project was born...
the little vial of all the leftover juices...which is now known as "Dead Man Vaping"
It will be a mix all of flavor (already several different brands/flavors have begun the process). Since we mostly use 12mg-6mg of nic at 20/80 pg-vg and within some of the same flavor affinities. This vial is a collection of all the left overs from the various tanks we use. For giggles, we decided we would call this juice "Dead Man Vaping". The begin steeping date was set for Sept. 24th, 2013. The goal...don't vape it until New Years Day 2014, in which we already have a few others coming to join us in a vape fest.
Initial test vape is a butterscotch rum but a hint of something neither of us can put our fingers on...a berry, fruit..who knows.
Color is a nice caramel...
As we add to it over the next couple of months...this should get interesting...
