I ignored my symptoms until finally my mouth swelled up and got sores. I didn"t really ignore them I just attributed them to other things. I had no issues in the beginning of vaping but slowly they began. Here is what PG now does to me.
Acne, Dry burning and numb lips, extreme tooth sensitivity to cold, itchy and red skin, sneezing, sinus problem, lungs filling, flu like symptoms, burning urination, breathessness, confusion, joint pain, neck weakness, chills, lack of energy and probably more that I am still unaware of.
I ended up in the ER with anafalactic shock. Upon review of the medicine that I had it associated to it isn't PG it is PEG. Within a day of vaping VG all sympoms were much better, 3 days they were gone.
My pharmacist told me that the irritant in PG and PEG are the same. Ironically doctors dont care if you allergic to PG but thell them you are allergic to PEG and they pay attention.
My vender made me VG juice about 85% because the favors they use are in a PG base. They doubled the flavor so it should taste like normal to me. I was back in vape heaven for 6 hours. Then the symptoms began returning. Prior to then I had doubts that they were all associates with PG but I am now 100% positive.
Over time I have come to learn that I cannot tolerate any PG. Therefore a VG based liquid will make me sick. I must have PG free flavorings too. This is not the case for everyone.
Please be aware that VG base is not the same as 100% VG.
