Xbox 1 USB E-cig Charger

mod 1: Built in Xbox 1 USB e-cig charger

Status:
WIP/Assembly Pending

Parts:
Gamucci-WNC01 Model USB Charger, Xbox1 with Xecuter3, Xecuter X3 Control Panel, Various screwdrivers, Soldering apparatus, Hot Knife.

Progress and Notes: While the Gamucci e-cig is absolute garbage and my atty for it dead, the USB charger does work to charge the batteries of my Joye510. As the controllers for the Xbox1 (and 360) are USB2.0 devices with modified fittings it is simply a matter of patching into the lines of the controller fitting to add any USB1 or USB2 device to the machine.

The X3 Control panel does this quite elegantly, adding 2 USB ports for mouse and keyboard to ports 3 and 4. It is possible to use a dremel or hot knife to bore a hole into the faceplate and fit the charger next to ports 1 and 2; patching into those USB lines. This has proven to be difficult, as there is little room to place the internals of the device.
