This isn't really a 'review', or a rebuild guide for the kayfun Lite, since there are so many already online for any RBA. Also, how well a RBA vapes depends on what you consider a good vape, and how (well) you build the coils/wicks.
So what the page is about is closeup photos of how they come apart and go back together again, as well as what I consider the biggest pros/cons of each, and photos of what they are size wise compared to other RBA and common batteries, as well as how hard a newbie found them to take apart and get running the first time.
My Atomizer Rating:8/10
Pros
Cons
How it came:
Taken apart (rebuild core intact):
Completely disassembled:
Reassembled - ready for rebuilding:
2 Airholes at bottom (distinguishing feature of Russian 91 IN a Kayfun Lite)
Factory build:
My simple 3 coil rebuild used organic cotton (2.0 ohms = 1" of 32ga Kanthal wire). The factory original coil and original silicone wicking laying on paper towel:
Mounted on black 18650 extended Provari (compared to other Atomizers for size)
Comments:
I can't get over the vape and build quality of this!! The biggest advantage (will have to test this) is that the coils should be good for a month or 2, and all I need replace is the cotton wick. It also allows me to vape my extremely clogging juices that wreck fresh cartos in 1 tank (still love cartos for convenience). After 2 days of doing 100% VG juice with my homemade very gunky tobacco extract, I'm in heaven!!

Pros
- easy disassembly/reassembly without instructions
- No leaking (make sure there's wicking covering the juice grooves)
- easily refills from top section or use bottom screw (some Kayfun clones apparently don't)
- easy to build wire/wick system
- can tighten down to Provari - 2 airholes on side of last segment
- straightforward and easy wick/wire rebuild
- drip tip standard and changeable
- Below specific to my Kayfun clone
- flawless polished stainless finish (blows away Pbusardo's original Kayfun lite in video), with pure high grade 304 Stainless, not plated brass or mystery metal
- flawless Provari-like threading
- Has the Russian 91 additional airflow hole in bottom segment- the only advantage of the Russian, with the Kayfun Lite better designed parts (but cleaner)
Cons
- must pour juice out of tank to rebuild
- poly tank window, not glass, and not glass replaceable due to threading in the poly
