Vinegar?

Pffff, after reading for one night and one morning i ended up here...

Great thread this is!!! I'm going to try the vinegar and citric in my juices and see what difference this makes. What i learned so far:
- Citric adding 1-4 drops/5ml in fruity juices and other sweet and deserts, brightens up the flavor.
- Vinegar adding 1-4 drops/5ml in tobacco, mellows the flavors.
- Lor Ann Tart and Sour adding 1 drop/2ml gives body and sweetness with a hint of sour.
- Measuring the pH of juices is not a bad thing, for comparison reasons.
- It is not known yet how the above mentioned additions behave in larger batches (linear of exponentially).
- We still don't know the long term effects of these additives in juice (in lungs), but that counts for everything in a juice, except PG, VG and Nic.
- There was some more interesting information (but i can't remember after this long time. I really need some sleep now ;).
- Some guys and gals here on EFC make VERY GREAT contributions to the community, especially wanting to thank Pete for starting this thread.

Thanks again everybody that made good contributions to this thread. This is the kind of information that DIY'ers need. :)

Sleep well...

Hi Glassmanoak,
I've tried some experimenting with that vinegar tip and 1 drop in a 10 ml bottle not only mellowed it, but it STOPS the aging...that is to say the liquid did not darken yet, even after it's been steeping a couple months! Have you been experimenting like this too?
See ya around :)
