Day Four

Yesterday was somewhat of a, "stick that broke the camel's back." Only one analog, and quite disgusting.

Experimented with some flavors... Me thinks that I'll stick with the tobacco flavor for now. The sweetness was a bit overbearing (even for the Vanilla). I am hoping that my tastes change.

vaping Techniques

I started off vaping like I would smoke a pipe; pulling in the vapor to my mouth, getting a taste, and then inhaling. Though I was getting a buzz from this technique, I found it not quite satisfying my urge to smoke.

This brought on some evaluations of how I was smoking analogs, which, ended up being basically the same method -- into the mouth, linger, then inhale. I gave this technique a day and decided that it was time to change.

I am now doing a "combination" type draw where the first part of my draw is direct inhale followed by a draw into the mouth. This was a bit of a shock to my throat and lungs to begin with, but seems to be far more satisfying. In addition, that last little bit that I draw into my mouth can be expelled through my nose, blow smoke rings, and all the other goofy things that I did with analogs (oh, those little visual pleasures -- lol).

Getting the Tar Out

The change to vaping seems to be starting to show some effects on my body. A bit of coughing, but no where near what I had with the "smokers cough." The primary difference is that the new cough seems to be productive whereas the "smokers cough" was a dry nagging hack.

Taking an antihistamine to help expel the garbage seems to help.
