Virgin Vapors: Orange Soda Pop (a review of sorts...)

Virgin Vapor: Orange Soda Pop

What I like about Virgin Vapors is that they use glass bottles for all their juices. It's a nice touch, and glass bottles are in need as I continue to gear up for my DIY adventure. So, I've been on a bit of a sweet fruit kick lately to help with my rather warm summer days of Georgia living. The sweet flavors seem to just vape well when it's too danged hot outside to do anything productive besides write juice reviews. So, on with the review of sorts.

What I got and how I'm vaping it: I got the 100% vg option at 08 mg strength and am vaping it in a Protank (~2.4 atty) on my Provari at 4.3 volts. I should note that I am using an air-flow control adapter.

The Label: Yep, the label has made it's way into my review. I don't like the way Virgin Vapors makes their labels. There's no exact figure for nicotine level (it says "Low"), there's no born on dating, but it does tell me the batch number...whatever that means. I do have the mix ratio, their logo, their web address, and a nicotine warning.

Look: This is a darker juice than what I was expecting. This is as dark as Boba's, so I expect this juice to gum up my wick and coil fairly quickly (especially at 100% vg).

Bouquet: It's got a wonderful sweet orange smell to it that reminds me of a good orange soda; as in, it's like a small batch orange soda with real cane sugar and not a mass produced brand with high fructose corn syrup.

Taste: Just like the bouquet, I get the sweet orange flavoring, and it's balanced with crispness and sweet. I could almost say it's got bright acidity and creamy sweet. But, most of the flavor really pops at the front of the vape and doesn't linger like a some other good juices do. So, I'm on the fence with a reorder on this.

Throat Hit: Of course, with low nicotine, all VG, and sweetness, there really isn't much throat h
it. But, at the 50/50 mix, another vaper might get more TH.

Bottom Line: At their prices, this doesn't quite do it for me to give me an orage-ish vape, and I would prefer Queenside from FivePawns because it's got more complexity for just a couple more dollars ($27.50 + free shipping with FivePawns for 30ml and $22.50 with shipping included for 30 ml at Virgin Vapors).

I love trying new juices and writing about them. I may be long winded, but I like to take a full, wide-angle view, and this has been my experience with this juice. I ordered from them because I've had their Maple French Toast in my morning rotation and enjoyed it, so why not try another flavor from them. Feel free to chime in with compliments, contradictions, good jokes, bad jokes, etc.
As Always, happy vaping! :vapor:
