Having been a pack a day smoker for 30 years, this morning was the very first morning I woke up and didn't have a cigarette. Instead I rolled over, took my E-Cig in had and had a couple pulls. After about the 4th pull I was ready to get up and face the day. I must admit I haven't completely quit smoking yet. I did have 2 analogs today, but on a normal day I would have had 14 by now. I have 23 analogs left and after they are gone I will not buy anymore.
I have not yet found a combination of tastes that I prefer yet. I find the Canadian blend nicotine have a bit of a weird taste and the throat hit is very hard and rough. Of course I am sure adding a couple drops of 36mg flavorless nicotine doesn't help with that raw in your throat feeling lol. I thought being a heavy smoker I would need the huge hit in the morning and after meals, but I find I don't. So next time I wont add it. My battery on the eGo T is great, I used it for 7 hours yesterday and it didnt die on me. After charging overnight, I have been using it for 5 hours now without any problems what so ever. No leaks, no problems at all (knock on wood).
So I will spend the rest of the day trying not going outside for an analog, but I think for me quitting cold turkey is only setting myself up to fail. I think my complete quit date will be March 14th, The beginning of March Break. In the mean time I plan on experimenting trying to get a juice that had the right throat hit and taste for me.
Until tomorrow, Happy vaping
