-sigh-

A few months back, an argument erupted between a friend and I. The argument couldn't be avoided in any manner. The two of us are quite ignorant.

The argument was about vaping. Fact upon fact, I laid it on him. My side of the argument wasn't getting through to him. After several minutes of voicing each other's opinions, the cussing started coming. I saw the side of him, that I never wanted to see. I knew I had the upper hand. My mind was clear enough, to make the decision, to walk away.

Thinking about it now, the whole ordeal seems quite pointless. I lost a friend, simply because I quit smoking. I only wish that this story could end there. I'm sitting here, feeling, betrayed and confused. I was completely over the matter, until a few hours ago.

The guy had the nerve to tag me in a post, a picture of him vaping at a local B&M. I'm not sure how to approach this.

Is this a sign of apology? Or completely out of spite?

At this point, I don't think his company is the kind I'd like to keep.

Take the high road if you really want to be friends again. Forget apologies and don't read into it. Everybody says crap in the heat of an argument. Just leave a supportive message and let it go. If you're still angry ignore the whole thing and move on.
