How to Fix a Vivi Nova that Won't Fire

Follow the easy steps below to fix a non-firing vivi nova. Use this method when you have other clearos / tanks that fire on your battery - so you know the battery is working correctly.

This is the bottom of the vivi nova where it screws in to the battery. So if you notice, the bottom is kind of recessed in and will not fire on my battery

This is the center post of the vivi nova, the coil head screws into the top section where the arrow is.

So I stripped it all down and removed the coil head.

Then the post I have marked with an arrow, I pushed that down with a screwdriver. You don't have to push it too far, but look at the bottom of the vivi nova - where it connects to the battery - and you will see the center section move down. Just do it enough so it is slightly proud of the bottom of the tube

It's a little hard to see, but you see how the center post will now make contact with my battery. So I screwed it all back together and it fires fine.

This should take care of the issue for you. Just remember not to screw it in too tight to your battery. Then remember to check whenever you clean your clearo or change the coil head that it's pushed down far enough.
