Still waiting on my SmokeTip...

You said you're afraid you won't like the model you ordered. I hate to agree. SmokeTip was my first ecig, and their website and products are straightforward (easy). I loved them until I noticed how often I was running for a battery charger, and re-ordering cartomizers.
I moved up to the KR808D-1 XL & suddenly noticed it took half as much effort to draw air through. Kits can be had for $40 vs. SmokeTip's $60. Also, the XL batteries last 5 hrs each instead of 2. But even so, with SmokeTip I gradfually smoked less until deciding I liked 'em way better than my 25 yr analog habit of 2 pks/day.
Eventually I got a Mega eGo, which is even easier to draw through, you can drip with it and the batteries last 9 hrs ea. I still go back to the XL often, though, because you can hold it in your teeth and puff hands free (it's an automatic battery).
BTW, the eGo isn't as big as the pictures make it look, I was surprised. Also, you may chck out the G400. It has a 9 hr battery, uses cartomizers and is almost the same size as your SmokeTip will be. All in all refilling with juice is like $8 for 5 weeks of smoking vs. cartomizers at about $4/day, so the best trade off is refilling V4L cartomizers yourself. You'll need a 510 to KR808 adapter if you do this. The 510 cartos used on the eGo have to be refilled at least every hour, & they melt easy.
Have fun, don't beat yourself up, and before you know it you won't be coughing up stuff in the morning & your lungs will feel great!
You may get addicted to trying flavors & buying gadgets, though!
