Not to draw off track from DNA40s, but has anyone ever used too much rayon in their coil? I coulda swore this last build I did would have had too much (was just barely at the point I could pull it through without it ripping or moving the coil) but it's handling it just fine :O Should I be ready for this build to need re-wicked quicker than normal or have I been using too little rayon this whole time?

Not sure how much you've been using but it needs to be fairly snug. It usually pulls on the coil. You can put too much. The nice thing it will still work but there with be a nutty taste of the rayon when first breaking it in. The flavor will be off.

My recent wick I overstuffed it And it had the breaking taste for a little while, the flavor never popped after a day. So I separated part of it with a needle and pulled about a 1/16 piece out both sides with tweezers and bam pure flavor better vapor.

If you do not taste pure juice from the first hit it's not right.

Too dense symptoms-

Tasting rayon muted flavor premature gunking not taking high wattage without the nutty
Rayon taste.

Too loose symptoms-

Burning taste, not able to run high wattage without getting burning taste, dry burning the coil. Premature gunking.

Tail density problem symptoms-
(needing thinning depending on atty and vape style)

Slow wicking, juice backflow into tails, premature gunking, not able to run the wicks till white dry.
