I have 3 Vamo's. 2 V5's and a V2 along with a bunch of other mods, some high end, others average. No complaints with the Vamo. As long as you're not the type that vapes with your nose in the air it'll serve you well. I've vaped a lot of
juice with a
kayfun sitting on top of a Vamo. It's a nice combo.
On the
kayfun, I would suggest a roll of 28ga kanthal wire, a pair of small sissors, a small phillips head screw driver, a pair of fingernail clippers, a pair of tweezers and a bag of organic cotton from walgreens. I use the center tube from a used up Bic pen for my coil wrapping. Six wraps of the 28ga kanthal around the ink tube will give you right at a 1.2ohms coil. This is about ideal for the Vamo V5 as it has a 1.0 ohm cutoff built into it's board.
Go watch a few video's on coil building and wicking on Youtube. Rip Trippers has a few vids that are very useful for Kayfuns.
Best of luck with your new toy!
