It has been suggested to me that our government leaders are too busy to worry about a silly fringe issue like e-cigarettes.

Let me say first that this is NOT a fringe issue. Smoking kills 500 thousand plus americans every year. The FDA approved quit methods have an abyssmal success rate. The only one that even kind of works makes people go crazy and kill themselves. The FDA is well aware of this and profits from pharma's multibillion dollar stop smoking scam both directly and indirectly....

I have lost hope.

I wrote my congressman. I got a form letter that makes me doubtful of his reading comprehension abilities.

I get up and go to work and all I hear is "Oh fox news says them thingys are more dangerous then real ciggies!"

I make a thread asking for people to reach out to the ACLU for help and it turns into a mudslinging contest between left and right. You people can't even set aside your differences long enough...
