It has been suggested to me that our government leaders are too busy to worry about a silly fringe issue like e-cigarettes.
Let me say first that this is NOT a fringe issue. Smoking kills 500 thousand plus americans every year. The FDA approved quit methods have an abyssmal success rate. The only one that even kind of works makes people go crazy and kill themselves. The FDA is well aware of this and profits from pharma's multibillion dollar stop smoking scam both directly and indirectly. The FDA has lied on national television to protect those profits from their greatest threat. The e-cigarette. FDA scientists sent a letter to the president pleading for a house cleaning of these corrupt unethical officials. Yet he does nothing. Corruption at the highest levels of government is not a fringe issue. Again: Corruption at the highest levels of government is not a fringe issue! It is a serious problem and until something is done about it things will get worse. Our freedoms and our rights to privacy will become fewer and fewer until our great nation de-evolves into a facist, totalitarian, orwellian nightmare. I predict it will happen within my lifetime. As americans it is our obligation to keep our government in check. To require honesty and integrity from the federal agencies that WE fund through our taxes. Our founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves if they knew how distorted their vision of freedom has become for the sake of greed and power. What the FDA has done is a TRAVESTY! I hope that one day the people responsible will rot in prison where they belong for putting so many american lives unnecessarily at risk.
