Making my way back - lots of confusion..

This is quite disorienting, looks like an awful lot has changed and I don't really recall entirely where I left off.
Some problems turned into sudden major complications before the 2011 Holiday Season. W/o making a mess of it I've been gone a long time. Not just here, almost everywhere, with most of my connectivity efforts by proxy or to maintain the minimum professional contacts. Including being almost entirely separated from my daughter the past four months. It is a whole lot of not fun.
I'm returning to "life" with not much of anything. Including my vaping gear which at some point went somewhere - and like most things missing now I don't know where. (I don't need vaping gear BTW, it's not clear I'll start vaping again - even if the mental draw is still there.)
Please bear with me as I'm doing a lot of catch up in a lot of places - and trying to decide what to address first. ECF is a great community and is one of the places I'd like to return.
A few house-keeping things:
[LIST][*]I recall leaving a contest undone but I honestly don't remember the entirety of it. I'll have to dig back, refresh my memory, and then queue up whatever I'm supposed to do. Or donate equivalent monies to CASAA or something. I'll defer or Sarge (oh I hope he is still around), MadMac, Rose, Nate, the dark pixie girl person (Pchela?), and whomever else wants to chime in on how to close this loop. (Names are starting to flood back - this is going to end with me mistaking a lot of people.)[*]Give me some time to read and, if relevant, respond to private messages. I expect nobody will much care at this point but just in case - I will be sorting through them.[/LIST]
I figure I best go read the forum rules, sticky posts, etc. again before I meander around the rest of ECF.
