I'm Baaaaacckkk! I have been quite busy lately and haven't had any time to do my reviews, but I have tons of juices here waiting for me to review, and I will get all of them done for all of you as soon as possible. Hopefully, I will be finished my current stock of juices within the next 2 weeks.... maybe 3 (I really have ALOT to review!). But as usual, I am using my ego twist and a LR Bridgeless atty for dripping.
Honey Pearry:
The juice- 12mg nic, 70vg/30pg, steeped for 3 days, Color- Translucent yellow, Smell- strawberries with a hint of melon.
Flavor- as described on the website...
"Honeydew with hints of strawberry and pear."
Throat hit- Mild 2/5
Vapor production- Substantial 4/5
Flavor strength- Subtle 1/5
Body- Dry and airy.
Opinion- I am getting mostly a subtle melon flavor with a hint of strawberries on the back end. I feel that this flavor is just too subtle for my liking, and therefore it is not something I would purchase again. I can say that the flavors that are there are fresh fruits and not the candy versions, and there is also no chemical or perfumey taste to this. I just need something more from it. It does not stand out to me as is.
MY Suggested steeping- Unsure if further steeping would improve this or not.
I give this 7/10
Unicorn Poo*:
The Juice- 12mg nic, 70vg/30pg, steeped for 3 days, Color- Translucent pale yellow-orange, Smell- Berries with hints of chocolate and vanilla.
Flavor- as described on the website...
"Well... everyone knows Unicorns poop cupcakes and rainbows! This tastes like blueberry cupcakes with white chocolate frosting and a raspberry on top!"
Throat hit- Mild 2/5
Vapor production- Substantial 4/5
Flavor strength- Mild 2/5
Body- Dry and airy.
Opinion- First off... I despise the name of this, I would probably never answer honestly if anyone asked me what I was vaping. But as far as the flavor goes...I am tasting mostly berries with this one, with a very slight white chocolate finish. It is a slightly sweet flavor, but again, I feel this is too subtle for my liking. I was also expecting this to be more of a bakery type flavor, and I feel like it is missing the mark with that and it would be better categorized as a fruity flavor since that is the predominant aspect that is coming through. I would not purchase this again as is, and I probably also would not recommend this to others.
MY Suggested steeping- Unsure if further steeping would improve this or not.
I give this 6/10
Southern Hospitality:
The Juice- 12mg nic, 70vg/30pg, steeped for 3 days, Color- Translucent brownish orange, Smell- Sweet tobacco with peaches.
Flavor- as described on the website...
"A sweet tobacco flavor, with hints of peaches and brown sugar."
Throat hit- Moderate 3/5
Vapor production- Substantial 4/5
Flavor strength- Mild 2/5
Body- Dry and airy.
Opinion- The recurring theme that I am seeing with this vendor, are that the flavors are too subtle. I am tasting mostly a slightly sweet tobacco with this one, and the peaches and brown suger are barely detectable. I will say that the th is pretty impressive on this one considering my nic content as well as the fact that it is 70%vg. So I might possibly recommend this to newer vapers who are really looking for the th in a tobacco flavor. But I would not purchase this again for myself.
MY Suggested steeping- Unsure if further steeping would improve this or not.
I give this 6.5/10
The Vapor Chef
I feel that this new vendor DOES have potential, but right now... based off the flavors that I have tried, I would say they need to do a little more work to get their flavors to a point where they could start to generate a fanbase/following.
I would suggest to anyone wanting to try anything from this vendor... request extra flavor! Overall I felt they were very lacking in the flavor strength department, and that could be an easy fix. Of the 3 I tried, I felt that Honey Pearry was the best and had the most potential.
