Mad Vapes e-Liquid Review #2

I got bored waiting for my new Infinite CLT dripper to arrive (it's supposed to be delivered today), so I grabbed another bottle from the big pack O' juice winnings from the gracious and wonderful folks at Mad Vapes (see previous blog for details), and threw some into a freshly built dual coil setup on my Nimbus clone. The juice I grabbed was Top Vapor's Cherry Cola.

I'm going to pause this review for a moment to talk about soda. Or, if you're from the Midwest, pop (shoutout to my homies in Nebraska!). When I was a kid my family referred to all sodas as 'canned drinks'. As in, 'Mom I'm thirsty, can I have a canned drink?' Weird, huh? In some areas they are called 'soft drinks', which I think is only used by people who sell beverages to make their customers feel insecure about not buying alcohol. But soda, or pop, or soft drinks, or canned drinks, is one of the worst things you can consume. They're loaded with salt, sugar and caffeine, so they're not only toxic but highly addictive. But they Taste So Good! Sure, they can destroy your cartilage and make you gain weight, have no nutritional value whatsoever, they don't actually quench your thirst because they have salt in them which just dehydrates you, and they can dissolve nails in a glass jar (though why they don't dissolve glass is anyone's guess), but man they taste good.
And, like most things that come in a huge variety of flavors, everyone has their favorite. When I was a kid I drank generic Lemon Lime soda exclusively, unless my mom let me have some of her Dr. Pepper. I think she mostly kept me from it because it contained caffeine and made her ADHD-addled son turn into a insane person, but every now and then I was allowed. When I grew up and stopped calling them 'canned drinks', I preferred Diet Coke. Later I would discover what my mom seemed to know all along, which was that caffeine made me crazy, so I stopped drinking soda. Every now and then, though, I would (and still do) treat myself to what has become my favorite soda of all time, Cherry Coke. I only have one maybe once a year, but I love it. I've tried getting other cherry flavored sodas, and most of them are okay but not nearly as amazing as a Cherry Coke.

Okay, back to the review. Top Vapor's Cherry Cola tastes exactly like Cherry Pepsi. I can enjoy it for it's stunning accuracy, and it's not bad or anything, it's a nice vape. But I prefer Cherry Coke to Cherry Pepsi, so when I vape Cherry Cola I have that same feeling you get when you accidentally buy the wrong brand, like, Oops! I bought Pepsi instead of Coke! D'oh!
But lemme tell you, if you love love love Cherry Pepsi (or, alternatively, if you love Cherry RC Cola - if there even is such a thing) then you should definitely check out this juice.

Update: on a whim I took a toot of LH Blueberry along with a toot of the Cherry Cola at the same time (#doubletoot), and it tasted like Cherry Coke! Woohoo! Time for some mixin'!
