01.22.2011. satURday. Cutting and Mixing with VaporBomb Flavours, and Part Two of the Review of the New.

Right, so.

I already listed the flavours I just received in the mail from VaporBomb. Some were a hit, and others a miss. I played with some DIY flavour drops and VG, and old flavours I was trying to beef up.... I've had some successes, failures, and learned a lot.

Cream Soda. After a day of vaping, I have decided that I don't like it, anymore. It's not that it has a bad taste, but it's quite weak. I might mix something with it.... I certainly won't be messing with it on a regular basis. It just doesn't stand out like the other flavours.

White Chocolate + Kona Coffee (black).
Oh my gods, this is utterly fantastic. Forget "cream" and "sweetener" options. This is amazing. I will be ordering this as a custom mix, from now on.

Wild Cherry. No. Just, no. I'll never order this, again. No matter how much I put in, it does not taste overly cherry-like. ..maybe more akin to stale cherry gummies. I just couldn't get it to work. I might use it as a fallback, if I run out of the flavours I like.

Creme de Menthe.
It has a great aftertaste, and makes my mouth all minty, but not my throat. I purchased this to use when I was sick, mixing it with pure VG, so I could use it versus sore throats, without overdoing it on the nicotine. It's pleasant, but not quite what I expected.

Grape. I was able to mix the grape with my previously diluted bottle, and it went well.

Mango. Same.

Lavender. I am concerned about this flavour, because it is obvious an oil was used. I really like lavender, but I heard in the DIY Warnings section of this forum that vaping actual OIL was dangerous. Perhaps I will not use it, very often.

So, I plan to reorder mango, grape, white chocolate, kona (black), and pear. (I ordered pear a while ago and diluted it to 12 mg. Unfortunately, they were out of pear flavouring.) Maybe I'll get orange, too. Vaping grape whilst eating an orange tastes just like a really good jawbreaker.

I probably won't order any more flavour drops in the future, considering it takes 80 drops to get anything close to a decent potency. I guess if I were making 0mg juice, then it would be more cost-effective, but I'm not really saving much money, doing it this way. The bottles are something like $4, and unflavoured eliquid is $10 for 30ml. I don't really like the idea of having super-concentrated nic juice lurkin' around my house.
