Got locked out of the house last night when I went out to vape. For some reason, the locking latch on the sliding glass door engaged when I closed it - I think whatever oil was used to lubricate it gummed up with the cold and didn't let it retract. The wind chill was around 0, so it was pretty cold for where I live. Ended up calling Mom to come downstairs and let me in. After we had a good laugh:
Me: "I don't suppose you'd let me use an ecig in the house, would you?"
Mom: "You have one?"
Me: "Yes. I bought one in December to try to quit smoking, but I've only been using it when I'm not at home since I know how you feel about them."
Mom:
Me: "Here, this is what it looks like." [show her my istick with Kangertech Genitank]
Mom: "What does it do?"
Me: [explain and demonstrate how to use it]
Mom: "Does it smell?"
Me: "Nope. Smells like candy cane if anything."
Mom: [smells tank]
Me: "So....can I use it in the house?"
Mom: "Yes, you can use it in the house."
Me: "Thank you!"
So, now I don't have to hide the fact that I vape! Thankfully there was no argument or anything like that. And I don't have to freeze my posterior crevice off every time I want a hit!
