  1. My Vape Story

    by , 05-05-2014 at 05:17 PM
When I first vaped in 2010, I wanted something that replaced cigs. Getting up in the morning, even with heavy tobacco flavored 36mg juice, nothing did the same as half a pack of smokes before I left for work. I vaped during the day and smoked a little bit. Got tired of the fuss and leaks and decided to cold turkey. Lasted 6 months. Wife was vaping and smoking and I caved in when life took a turn. Right back to 2PAD in no time. Wife gave up vaping some time later.

    This time I realized ...

Tried 1 coil and it was OK but note to self...don't use 12mg nic juice...Knocked me on the floor. And I have to admit I was expecting tons of vapor. Does the MVP work well with these rebuildables? If you build a 1 ohm coil isn't that like 25 watts @ 5.0V? I was thinking that would put out some great vapor.

I decided to make a wish list but where should I keep it? My Documents, but I would forget about it. Start a forum thread would probably get deleted. How about a blog. So here I am.
Provari - maybe my one year anny if I still vape
Omnitester - waiting for more feedback. Don't need it, just want it
RDA - I have a small single coil one. Would like a larger one
^Ended up with 4 AGA-T2 and 2 RSST still might get another RDA
    More DIY juice stuff -
    ^Probably ...

Recoiling Aspire BDC with single coil

Watch Rip Tripper's videos on recoiling Aspire BDCs and Nautilus for ideas and a visual reference.
I will give you my experiences and realities after a few failed attempts, using common items.

I recommend getting the cheapest Aspire ET ego style clearomizer. Dedicate the coil base to this project. It will get nicked and dinged in this process.

  5. Aspire BDC Tips

Here is what I have learned after having the Aspire BDCs for a while. They are my favorite topper. Most of mine are the S, glass versions. I plan on blogging this. Feel free to add your own tips.

    Aspire BDC Tips
When topping off a partial fill, check the coil for tightness. Unscrewing the base can loosen the coil as it tends to stick to the tube.
Condensation builds in the tube from the coil to the tip. It drains down into the coil. It is thinner than e-liquid and will leak ...
