Demonstrated on an Erlkonigin, using rayon, but can be used on multiple decks with either cotton or rayon.

As you pull both ends, the pressure will be equally distributed from both sides so that the coil will remain more or less unstressed keeping its initial shape. Another advantage is that both sides will end up with the same density and the highest density will be at the center (inside the coil) which is what we want.morpheusneo;14596236 said:I missed the double insertion method of splitting the wick in two and inserting it in both sides. Can someone briefly explain or refer to the post? If not I'll search for it in the morning. Thanks.
If you want to find the pages with more relevant info, search for "double insertion", "double pen", "double penetration" and "perverts", you should find the posts pretty fast
Erlkönigin: tchavei Wicks(double inserted)
STEP-1:
28AWG, 2.2mm Nichrome coil
STEP-2:
Cut a piece of approximately 1/3rd of the stock rayon - and then split it into two lengths
STEP-3:
Insert both the pieces of Rayon from opposite ends - then pull them thru
STEP-4:
Trim the puffy ends at both sides just outside the vertical juice channels. And split the 'pointed' ends into two
STEP-5:
Cut off one half of the split tails - and drop only one tail at each end into the juice channels
STEP-6:
Wick & coil ready and good to go
CREDITS: Thanks tchavei for the idea√
