Sales Tax on ecigs or electronic cigarette

I can see why the govt wants to get rid of these. First off I was a three pack a day smoker 31 years of smoking and ecigs saved my life. My opinion is this. I was talking to a smoke shop and tattoo parlor that sells these. He is in Wisconsin and they have a sales tax exemption for medical devices. He charges no sales tax on ecigs. The FDA is trying to classify them as a class 3 medical device. This is why they are untaxable. The govt shot itself in the foot. Not only did they lose their revenue from tobacco converts but now have no way to tax ecigs. It is wonderful isnt it? Now picture this. All the smokers switch to non taxable ecigs and live longer. This will ruin social security and govt health care. They need us to buy lots of tobacco, pay lots of tax and die before we collect social security or medicare. It worked great until the ecig was invented and foiled the plan.
