So I looked this up and couldn't find much on it. I saw a video where another vaper had heard about this problem but not experienced it.
Let me tell you
I just experienced it.
I attached my mini Aerotank (With the metal drip tip that comes standard) to my mini passthrough and it SHOCKED my LIPS. I thought maybe it was just the pass through, so I tried my MVP V2 (in passthrough mode (whatever you want to call it) because it was pretty much dead....
SAME THING.
I pulled the tank apart and put it back together and no problem. No shock.
I have no idea what caused this and if anyone can give me some suggestions I would be grateful.
I'm assuming this partly has something to do with how the device is connecting to a power source (maybe the coils were not connecting correctly the first two times - as the tank was not producing vapor))... but it seems strange that a ecigarette would/should do this.
For the next few days... I think I may use a plastic drip tip on my tanks... until I know what the issue is.... but....
OUCH!
