I'm all saying how I probably won't get a big mod like a Provari or something...
and now here I am looking at the iTaste MVP and Vamo.

I decided that I want to try rebuilding coils. It doesn't seem too difficult, but there is obviously a risk... and I need something to check the ohms (and for shorts).

So, apparently I can do this with a battery that has an ohm reader and short protection. That leaves a decent amount of options. So, basically, right now... I'm searching ...

Safety evaluation and risk assessment of electronic cigarettes as tobacco cigarette substitutes: a systematic review.
This systematic review appraises existing laboratory and clinical research on the potential risks from electronic cigarette use, compared with the well-established devastating effects of smoking tobacco cigarettes. Currently available evidence indicates that electronic cigarettes are by far a less harmful alternative to smoking and significant health benefits are expected

  3. Thank The Universe For E-Cigs (and, of course, the creators of e-cigs)

I began smoking when I was 12 (a few months shy of my 13th birthday).

When I started smoking, it was easy to give it up. Sometimes I laugh when people say that the first cigarette (or first pack) will have you hooked... because that's not true.

    by , 08-15-2014 at 01:59 AM
For reference: I am using an EVOD, Aerotank, & Igo-W. I have an Ego-C Twist, MVP V2, & a mini pass-through which I use at about 4.2-.3.6 volts (as low as 3.2 in the morning (or on the MVP) - and sometimes up to 4.6 on the pass-through) - with 2.2-2.8ohm coils.

I've been learning a reasonable amount about these flavorings as I use them, and have found that steeping is absolutely essential for quite a few of them (at least a week) or else there is that perfume-y/chemically flavor ...

  5. Almost A Month Off The Stinkies!

    by , 08-08-2014 at 04:12 AM
This is just a personal yay-me post.

I've been vaping for 28 days, a few days shy of a month.

I can say a few things with certainty:
    1. I can honestly say my lungs feel better. And so does my throat. I don't wake up hacking and coughing. I haven't been coughing up awful-looking brown/yellow phlegm. I don't wake up in the morning with a rough throat, even after a night of drinking and chain-vaping. And I don't have that heavy feeling in my chest that I get from smoking
