The Stardust or CE4 clearomizer.

When you're first starting out as a vaper, having an ego battery and a few of these disposable clearomizers will help give you the vaping experience you need. There are other options out there that do perform loads better, but for the price this is perfect for a start up.

They vape wonderfully on an ego battery, they're SUPER easy to fill and maintain. Once they go bad you huck it out the window and buy another one.

Sadly they're often looked down on by more advanced vapers. Which to me is strange, and I'll explain why.

I have two flavors I vape every single day. Which I absolutely love. But there's three others I like to take a couple pulls off of, like a coffee vape in the mornings, a melon vape for after meals, and a normal tobacco flavor for when stress has hit.

I don't want to dedicate a tank to these flavors as I routinely take six or seven pulls, then I'm done.

I keep all three of those flavors loaded in a stardust. The urge strikes I reach over grab it from my little carry case screw it down take my pulls then put it back in the case. At less than 5 dollars a pop these are a perfect alternative for me.

Now the stardust does have a few things that restrict them. They're made out of hard plastic which means tank killer juices, ie: cinnamon, citrus, and stuff like that will cause them to crack. They are disposable units which means they're not the greatest quality build. But with proper care they can last a good long time. Mine last me months on end, but I don't use them on a constant basis.

So when shopping for your vape supplies, consider throwing a couple of these in your cart for those flavors you like, but don't absolutely love.

talk more later.

I did not know this... I understood I would not get a replacement cause technically I broke it... so the guy I talked to suggested I get a pro glass tank... he gave me$4 store credit so including shipping total came to $13 for the pro tank so not bad.. but ive never used a pro tank... so I'm a little confusled on how to use it., I wish I wasn't such a NOOB to this stuff... :(

Yesterday I dropped by the newest vape shop in Los Angeles -- Viper Vapor LA. It has a fun and relaxed vibe. The hardware choice are good, with more advanced mods and RBAs arriving in the near future. The juice selection could be better. Black Label Vape is the best vendor they have, but there's a big drop-off after that. For a store that's been up and running for a few weeks, Viper Vapor LA is off to a good start and I'm looking forward to seeing how the shop improves.

Most of my DIY, so far,has been single flavors. My biggest mistake has been in adding too much flavor. I've been able to salvage all the mistakes by dumping into a larger bottle and adding unflavored of the same strength. Two days ago, I tried to make cherry cola and it was terrible. Tonight I'm feel pretty good that I managed to dilute and remix and ended up with 50ml that actually tastes good.:vapor:
The only thing I've dumped was 10ml of a vendor juice that was just vile.

Just picked up two "packs" of NJoy Kings because I literally ran out of vapable juice almost 2 weeks ago now and had ZERO money to order any more. So, my mother bought me 2 packs of cigarettes -___- Ugh! So I went back to smoking, my only hope of getting back to vaping being waiting for an opportunity to make some money coming up. THANKFULLY I found 2 bottles of juice underneath my bed. 2 bottles of juice that I had deemed "unvapable" lol... Madvapes Candycane (BARF) and a 2 year old bottle of Altsmoke Vanilla that had "steeped" so much that it was literally black with a dark molasses hew when held up to a light bulb. I mixed them together. That got me through 2 days. Here I am today. I have about 1ml of that juice from hell left. I have 1 pack of cigarettes that I am trying my best not to smoke, and I have 2 NJOY KINGS!

These things are BEAST for what they are. I like the 45mg juice a lot. 3-4 drags and you actually get a nice calm wash over your body... Unlike 24mg, which just throws me into panic mode usually. It seems 45mg is enough nicotine to relax me. It doesn't just spin me out and have my heart beating extra heavily. The taste? I like it. The menthol is a dirty tobacco menthol. It really does taste like a newport or a kool, and, the taste lingers in your mouth, like a cigarette would. Neat. The tobacco flavored one impressed me on the 1st two drags, but since, it has become almost flavorless, with a tart aftertaste. Meh. I mean, I'm guessing I will enjoy it more when I actually vape it. But I am vaping the menthol one for now, because I'm really enjoying the authentic taste. Both tasted very similar to a real cigarette the 1st couple drags, but the menthol one is holding that up really nicely.

I'm about 20 puffs into the menthol one and its still going strong, thank god. I'm hoping it will last me all of tonight and hopefully into tomorrow a bit. I do not want to wind up smoking that 3rd pack of cigarettes. I'm HOPING my order from ECBlends actually SHIPS tomorrow (4 days after I placed it!) & hopefully the 7 dollar priority shipping will get it here monday, tuesday the latest. That is IF ECBlends actually SHIPS IT TOMORROW! lol... Sorry, must be feeling the nicotine. ;-) 45mg is such a beautiful throat hit, mmmmmMMm<3 These things are SATISFYING. Thats all I can say. I do have a bit of a crowning nic headache coming on now, but, that just means I need to lay off for a bit.

1st impressions of these little guys? I like them a lot. They even feel "close" to the real thing in your teeth.

Nice. Lets see how long these last.

EDIT: Well the 1st one died. Njoy touts that these are supposed to last 2 packs of cigarettes. REALLY Njoy? REALLY? It lasted me 2 hours. Last I checked, 2 packs of cigarettes lasts me from 10am Monday.. to 10am Wednesday. Not 7:30pm Thursday to 10pm Thursday. Wow. The battery in these lasts 2 to 3 hours. And I was trying to make it last. I wasn't chain vaping in the LEAST. At $7+ for ONE of these... All I can say is they are a huge waste of money. The flavor is ok, and the throat hit is great. The vapor production is good at the start, not so great 1 hour in, and then it trails off to nothing before it dies. Nothing new here. Nothing revolutionary. The Njoy king's battery life is worse than any cig-alike I've tried prior. (510 and 808d minis) Bat life is piss poor. I feel completely "DUPED" and i don't know why i expected more. The thing weighs less than an ounce. Probably has a bat in it smaller than a 10440. I would need what? 3, 4 of these to last me all day? I'm smoking a cigarette right now because I'm out of options. Thanks for selling one battery for 7 bucks and calling it 2 packs Njoy. Rip off artists.

i got in a hard place, my batteries died for my mod and i needed something to hold me over. ive read alot about these and watched a few videos. i knew i DID NOT want a blu disposable from experience(wholly dissatisfied) so i went to one of my local walgreens stores to see what kind of stock they had(no local shops here) and i saw the NJOYs so i picked up a couple and ive been vaping them all day. the vapor production suprised the crap out of me! if i take a slightly longer, slow-ish draw i get a pretty decent cloud(nothing like my cartos or attys-but acceptable). throat hit is there, definately. the literature says they come in 2 nicotine strengths, Bold(4.5% nic by volume) and Gold(3.0% nic by volume). the golds have a noticable throat hit and the bolds have a strong throat hit. as to flavor, i got both in menthol bc i love this type of menthol flavor. i looooved the mystics menthol flavor, if i could find a juice that tastes like this itd be my go to vape. the flavor was good, i liked it.

i think i covered everything that was on my mind about them lol. thx for readin!
**UPDATE** one NJOY King lasted me a little less than 12 hours of normal vaping.

So another impulse purchase at my local smoke shop (http://www.threedayssmokeshop.com/) (soon to open a second dedicated vape shop!), because it had...

So another impulse purchase at my local smoke shop (soon to open a second dedicated vape shop!), because it had been on my list to try.

As an aside, I find myself reluctant to plan for my vaping-- it's kind of like, I don't want to admit that it's something I enjoy enough to prioritize. So I think about buying online, and end up buying in the local store. Despite what I said earlier in the thread on brick and moarter prices, my shop's prices aren't all that different from online. 15mL Johnson Creek is $9.99 vs $9.95 online (thought the chocolate truffle is on sale at the website for $7.95 at the moment), my Smoov starter kit cost me $25, which is what it costs from the website. And JC isn't actually that much more expensive than other popular vendors: $19.95 for JC vs $13 for HHV, $15 for 36 oz at Mister-E-Liquid, $22 at Virgin Vapor, $14 for 30mL at SI/Volt. So it's on the high side, but all are basically $10-20 for 30 oz.

I'd wanted to try one of the Johnson Creek chocolates and, as much as I've been enjoying their Red Oak 100% VG line, I wanted something I could use in a tank on my Triton. So I got the original PG-containing Chocolate Truffle, which JC lists as the lighter of their chocolate e-juices.

Packaging: Per JC usual, an amber glass bottle with a very nicely designed label including all the particulars. The original bottle lid is childproof, though the dropper top provided by the shop is not. I don't know if JC's own dropper tops are childproof, like Halo's (the pics on the website suggest not), but I've become more aware of the importance of this feature recently.

The taste: I honestly didn't much like it at first puff-- the chocolate tasted too artificial, and the other components didn't seem to go very well with it. But it had a very satisfying throat hit and mouth feel, and it grew on me. The first note is the chocolate, which is a moderately sweet, simple chocolate similar to hot cocoa or a hershey bar. Under that is an almost coffee-like bitterness, making the whole reminiscent of cafe mocha. And the tobacco adds a green, herbal note which actually blends the whole thing together into something quite pleasant and complex. It has a subtlety that makes it quite unique. I think overall the JC Chocolate Truffle is one of those flavors that I imagine doesn't taste anything like anything in the analog world, but actually tastes very natural when vaped.

Presentation: 9/10. I'm actually subtracting a point for the lack of a childproof dropper.
Vapor: 9/10, Good enough for smoke rings.
Flavor: 8/10. Nice but, like I said, quite subtle
Throat Hit: 8/10. Definitely notable, but not as strong as some others.
Overall: 8.5/10. Don't know that it'll be an all-day vape for me, but I've used it for several hours without tiring of it. It's less sweet than the RY4 or Tribeca I've been favoring lately, and it goes very well with a morning cup of coffee.

1% E.M. concentrate (DIY'd from E.M. crystals)
50%pg/50% vg 5ml batch

Day#1 steeping- Good (slightly coconutty, little cigar... not much 'chocolate' flavor from cigar flavoring)
Day#2 about the same, added 1 more drop of Cigar. Immediate improvement. 2.0ohm carto at 4.1 volts = perfection

Remedy Black
8% TFA Horehound
6% TFA Absinthe
2% TFA Smooth (tobacco)

Day #3- Strong anise-type flavor, hint of mint/coolness, reminds me of a Ricola throat drop. Altering recipe, increasing absinthe 2 drops 1/2ml base.

One of the more debated subjects I've seen in the vaping world is how to react to non-smokers who want to vape. The most common of these appear to be social smokers who want to enjoy smoking, but don't want to risk getting addicted to cigarettes or to do something that's so bad for them as smoking. People seem divided on if we should help them or discourage them completely, and there are valid reasons for both sides. I though I might share my thoughts on this today.

I personally too am a bit divided on this, there are a lot of downsides to an increasing number of non-smokers picking up vaping, but we might be able to do something about that if we try.

One of the biggest of which is how do you keep these social vapers from picking up something with nic in it and ending up addicted because they don't know what's in their hand(yes we all know by now that nicotine is not nearly as bad for you as so many claim, but still it is addictive). Sure we all can advise them to grab zero nic, even get them some 0 cartos, but what about all those gas station disposables out there? How many people are gong to just grab one of those on their way out to the bar for a night of fun? Clearly we can not be the worlds white night wearing shining vapor armor to protect every damn fool who picks up an e-cig because they think they are cool or totally risk free. However we can by being willing to advise our friends or even curious strangers, help reduce the number a bit. If we come out as too strongly against it and tell these people they are crazy, many of these people will go ahead and do it anyway (what did they tell you about smoking all those years ago?). A more even handed approach, where we tell them that vaping is a better choice then smoking, but we don't know what 20, 30, 50 years of vaping will really do, might be our better option here.

The next big concern and a valid one it is, is what will those ANTZ and their pocket lobbyist do when there are more people who pick up an e-cig that have never been smokers? The answer to this one is pretty clear. They will use it as a way to label vaping as an addictive and growing problem. They will say it is targeting new customers, kids, baby elephants, the whole nine yards. Well if they have not already turned this into a big part of the argument, they will (If we are talking about it, they are bribing about it).

Our best plan of action I think is not going to be to deny this is happening, but to shine a light on what vaping is compared to smoking. There is not a credible strip of evidence that counters that vaping is much safer then smoking. The average "avoids 4000 chemicals" is posted even in negative articles more often then not, and the "we don't know what's in it" argument is easily blasted out of the window by anybody with the ability to google. This does not even include the dozens of studies out there that are showing that vaping may be a no worse habit then drinking coffee (at least with what we can know at this point). We know what that these are safer then cigarettes and have a pretty good idea of why someone takes up smoking in the first place.

If you are an adult who really wants the smoking experience for whatever reason you tell yourself, you are going to find a way to get it. I would rather see a new vaper then a new smoker any day of the week. If the FDA, ANTZ, BP, BT or any of their payed off "scientist" can actually scientifically argue the opposite I will stand on my head and sing a Wagnerian opera, while eating my own hat (between acts of course).

New vapers that were not smokers to start is something that is going to happen. It does not matter if you like it or not, but with ANTZ and the FDA watchdogs out there, it's going to effect us all. We are better off finding ways to deal with it that will best benefit us all, including these non-smoker vapers, then letting the laws write themselves while we are busy arguing about it.

That's just my thoughts on it.
Thanks.
