"Mad" Deals

MadVapes LLC

I came across what seem to be great deals here in the ECF. 510s have been the ecig of choice for me and my friends always ask me how they can try what Im using. For those I know are going use it in the long term I send them to NHaler.com. Drew and his crew have always done me right. But for those who just want to try it this might be a really inexpensive alternative. Even including shipping, it seems to be just under $16 for a usb charger one complete 510 (though may not give you as many charges as a normal 510) and a couple of carts. It may be the perfect 'try' before you 'buy.'

I have not tried these but it sure does look interesting. They have a PO Box in North Carolina which is not far from where I am and though they do not have a very large e-liquid selection it looks like you will be able to find what you want at a great price. $4 for 10ml and $9.79 for 30ml with 24, 11 and 0mg nic.

It seems that the latest trend for e-cigs stores is to carry DIY parts. Not only does MadVapers carry switches and connectors but they also carry easy to mod battery cases. I have yet to mod a single e-cig but this looks to be as easy as it gets. Especially when you consider their growing 'How To' section.

I received my first "disposable 510" today and figured I would share some of my experiences with it.

Battery:
If this was my first experience with automatic batteries I do not think I ever would have gone to manual batteries. I does not activate when tapping or blowing on the LED end but it is sensitive enough to activate when I want it to.

It is not matte black like my other 510s. It is gloss black, almost plastic-like not metallic.

I started using it tonight at about 945 and now I need to recharge it. After moderate use it lasted 3 hours.

I am happy to report that seems to be charging with the 510 PCC that I use for my manual 510 batteries. I will try to let you know how long it takes to charge it.

[First charge in the PCC took a little less than 2 hours and it's working.]

[moderate use, approx. 9:00 AM to 1:20 PM ... second charge in PCC 1:20 PM to 3:00 PM]

[moderate-heavy use, approx. 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM ... third charge in PCC 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (not sure exactly when the charge light went out)]

[limited use, approx. 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM ... forth charge in PCC 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM overnight]

[moderate use, approx. 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM ... fifth charge in PCC 3:45 PM to before 5:30 PM]

[limited use, approx. 5:45 PM to 3:25 AM ... sixth charge in PCC 3:25 AM to 9:00 AM overnight]

**NOTE The last two overnight charges have been in a PCC that I have been having issues charging my manual batteries. With the manual batteries I have a problem keeping the charge light on. I would have to fiddle with the ecig and PCC to get it to charge but the disposable 510 has no issue charging in it.

[very limited use, approx. 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM ... seventh charge in (old) PCC 4:45 PM to 6:30 PM]

[very very limited use 6:30 PM 1:45 PM ... eighth charge in (old) PCC 1:45 PM to 4:15 PM]

[moderate use 4:15 PM to 10:00 PM ... ninth charge in (old) PCC 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM]

[moderate use 12:30 AM to 2:45 AM ... tenth charge in (old) PCC 2:45 AM to 12:00 PM (overnight, not sure when it completed)]

[moderate use 12:00 PM to 4:15 PM eleventh charge in (old) PCC 4:15 PM to 9:30 PM]

[moderate use 9:30 PM to 1:30 AM ... twelfth charge in (old) PCC 1:30 PM to 8:00 PM]
(I dont think it took over two hours to charge. I am also trying out a 8084 kit which is why the 510 stayed in the charger so long)

[moderate-heavy use 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM ... thirteenth charge in (old) PCC 11:30 PM to ... ]

OK, I think I'm done tracking this. I just got an 8084 kit that I'm trying out and I finally found a way to get a throat hit with it. So I will start testing how much I like that.

This afternoon I decided to start trying out the atomizer that came with this kit. First impressions:

the atomizer bridge seems to be thicker than other 510 attys I have used in the past.

The draw seems to be 'thicker' as well. Considering I am using an automatic battery, the stiffer draw makes it easy to activate the switch.

Final Conclusion (for now):

I really like it. As I stated earlier, if this was my first automatic battery, I would never have gone to a manual battery. I really cannot find anything bad to say about it.

The battery is lasting just as long if not longer than my manual 510s. Moderate use gives me at least 2 hours and after a week and 13 charges I have yet seen a drop off of performance. For me, charging in the PCC is a must, and it does. It even charges in an old PCC that I have trouble charging any of my manual batteries.

The switch is not too sensitive . Tapping or blowing on the led does not activate it but has no issue activating when I want it to especially with a semi-stiff atomizer.

I cannot tell a difference between this atomizer and other (good performing) atomizers I have.

Overall I really enjoy it and will most likely have this as my primary PV.
Recently I have been testing out the 8084 'super mini ecig.'
It seems smaller than the blu (width) and about the same length as normal cigarettes (shorter than a 510 WITHOUT the cart.) I am getting used to it but it still has some battery switch issues. If the Disposable 510 can get any better, it would be becoming smaller (but then it would no longer a 510.)

just a thought.
hope this helps
