Start notes:
Start ecig was an E-Choice Joye306 that came with 50 prefilled carts. 2 white batts w/ orange LED, 2 attys, 1 charger, 1 lousy broken english manual. Analog quit date was 3/8/2009.

I do not particulary care for the Pure Smoker Special Blend eJuice, it is just to harsh for me. That is why I odered the Johnson Creek Tennessee Pride eJuice. Now that one I really like. To bad I ordered just a small bottle of it. But I am currently not using the eJuices yet. I have just tried a smidge out of each bottle. I still have 2 carts left out of the 50 that came with the starter kit. I will finish those today and start the eJuice tomorrow.

I am almost out of the Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured Pride eJuice. That is by far my favorite. I still have over half a bottle of the Pure Smoker Blend. Sorry, but that one is just to harsh for me. I have ordered as of today a 30ml bottle of the Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured Pride. Once again the 18mg nicotine.
As for being tobacco free I am still going strong and still have not even touched a real ciggy!

Yesterday I had 3 batteries go out one after another. Two of the batteries were brand new never used. One of them was one of the originals. It did cause some very uncomfortable moments as I could not get a decent draw off of any of them and those were the only ones I had on me as we were out and about. I may have been getting a bit grumpy but come on three batteries at once?

I am starting to stock pile parts because it looks like the FDA is about to be jerks and start stopping a lot more shipping of parts. I may also have to learn how to make my own ejuice.

Made up my mind to venture into starting to make my own ejuice. I will be using 36mg PG Unflavored Nicotice juice as my base, and then will be cutting it with VG (Glycerin veggie based). I will be thinning the VG with distilled water with a ratio of 80% VG and 20% water. To the unflavored Nic juice I will add Loranns Hard Candy Flavor Oils. The flavors will make roughly 20% of total mixture or less. I am starting to gather the needed supplies.

A couple changes to note. I have switched from the Joye 306 model to the Joye 510 model. It does not look as much like a cig plus the cart holds more fluid so I do not have to top off asmuch. So far I am happier with the 510. PLUS I have cut back from 18mg nic to 10.8mg of nic content using the juice that I make. In a few weeks I am planning on cutting nic content to around 8mg.

I have ordered some PG as it does seem as if the VG kills most of the flavor when I am cutting the 36mg to 12mg using VG and Lorann flavoring. So I am going to try to mix 50/50 PG/VG to see if that brings out the weaker flavors and still stays smooth to the throat and produces good vapor.

Yes, there is a difference in taste using a PG mix. The flavor does come our much better. Also vapor production is still good and the smooth hits remains. I am now using a 50/50 PG/VG base.

Penny (my wife) has now got her own Joye510 that I got from an ECF member. I have not added that cost in yet as it would skew the figures. Just going to see if she can quit analogs. If she does I will revamp the formula and add her cost in. Keeping fingers crossed. So far she has done pretty good the past two days cutting back from 1 1/2 packs a day to just over 1/2 a pack.
