Transformer Mod - More than meets the eye :)

Ok so I was looking at making a universal mod that uses the PVMA RCA connectors. I wanted it to have the ability to use any atty, be a passthough (PT) or use batteries with out the cord. Shown are a 510 and 901 adapters, the 801 is at the house.
So here is what I came up with, it is a variation of my popper mod.
I call it the Transformer :) AKA Decepticon

Hope you like it.

I have an idea to move it to the ultimate vaper. How about attaching it to a compact switching power supply. You can changed voltages from 3 volts up to 12 volts in 1 volt steps. From 800 ma to 1.5 a

My main power supply when on AD or DC as a passthrough is a 4.5vdc 1600ma radio shack AC power supply. The Dc side for the car is a 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9, 12 vdc 2500ma power supply also from radio shack.
But it could be hooked to a variable power supply with the right adapter.

It uses a 16340 battery for the pill bottle adapter and a 10440 battery for the solitare mag light battery adapter.

Do you not find your power supply to be a little too much for the application? Do you use a hp atomizer

Not at all I find that 4.5vdc is the sweet spot for both the 901, cartomizers and the 801, even the 510 performs great at 4.5v. I got lucky in radio shack and found (5) 4.5 AC adapters (the old grey ones) for 4 bucks a piece. Coupled with the USB F pin adapter, it is a winning combination.

The PSSMV1USA is a good choice, even though it is regulated at 800ma it does have a max 1.5a putput, so if it is performing well I would stick with it.

Believe it or not at 800ma it is capable of a lot of heat. I am more interested in preserving atomizers.

The 4.5 volts seem to be the ideal voltage for me. for coffee flavors, but tobacco flavors become harsh at that setting. The three volt setting is really too low for practicle vaping. Lots of vapor, but not much flavor. So far the small manual batteries, and the 280 ma 3.7 autos are pretty good.I have sent away for some 380ma manual batteries. They should be a little better for 3.7 vaping.
