Part Six: eJuice Recommendations I

It is with great pride and trepidation that I approach this latest Blog in my Crash Course in vaping Series. Pride because I think I've done a fair and accurate review of a number of suppliers. Trepidation because I don't necessarily share in the popular opinion of a number of ECF members.

As I stated in the description of this Blog, I created this Blog as a one-stop-shop for information for family and friends. I was very surprised to see that folks that I don't even know have been coming to read it, like it, and giving me nice feedback. So to those of you our here that have been reading, um... Thanks! I had no idea ya'll would be stopping by to read, so thanks for your support!

The reason I named this Blog SQ's Unsolicited Advice is because I still brand new to all of this, and my opinion is just one of many you'll find here. I am no expert, I've only been doing this for 3 months, and this entire experience has been a constantly evolving learning process. So with all that said, let's get to...

Crash Course in vaping: eJuice Recommendations I

As I stated in my previous Blog: My reviews here, of various eJuice flavors, are my own opinion. There is no standard to review an eJuice. I am using my own grading system (listed below) based on Quality, Flavor Delivery, and Vapeability of the eJuice.

Excellent to Good eJuices will be in Green: These are eJuices that deliver in all categories: Quality, Flavor Delivery, and Vapeability. These eJuices have easily discernible strong flavors, and in short have produced an great vaping experience.
Good to Fair eJuices will be in Blue: These are eJuices that while vapable, aren't quite 5 star, just ok. Flavor presence maybe a little lacking or just not strong enough, vapor production maybe low. Keep in mind I order double flavor on almost every eJuice I buy. If the flavor isn't apparent at double flavor, then there's something definitely off with the mix.
Fair to Poor eJuices will be in Red: These are eJuices that produce little or no vape, flavor, and make you wonder if you actually inhaled anything at all, or the flavor is SO far removed from it should be, you wonder what the vendor was thinking.
Tobacco-base flavors will be designated with a (T).
Base Flavor of a juice will be in (parentheses) if not discernible from it's name.
Personal Flavor Favorites will have *star*. These are eJuices I would easily recommend as something to try... IF you like that flavor.
Best of the Best will be in Bold. These are eJuice which are just stunning, meet all of Grading Criteria, and have impressed me with their awesomeness.

Johnson Creek Smoke Juice

My only issue with is that they can be pricy and they only offer 100% VG or 100% PG eJuices. No possibility of doubling flavor or customizing the PG/VG ratios. No Steeping time is required, as they do not custom mix.
*Marcado(T)*, *Tennessee Cured(T)*, *Wisconsin Frost (mint)*, Domestic(T), Swiss Dark (chocolate), Island (weird tropical punch-like),
Valencia (orange): Noteworthy in a bad way, the Valencia (orange) liquid is like water, absolutely no body to the juice, which makes it difficult to vape.

Vixen Vapors

Hands down, my favorite vendor so far. PG/VG ratios are customizable, Double and Triple flavor options available. Great Product, pretty good prices, and amazing customer service. I only had one consistency/quality issue - which the owner called me directly to talk about. Top-notch, high quality eJuice right here, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Very little (or no) steeping time required for the juices purchased from here.
*Chocolate Hazlenut*, *Vanilla Bean Ice Cream*, *Butter Rum*, Death by Delicious, *Berry Berry*, *Apple Pancakes*, *Wintermelon (an odd combination of watermelon and wintergreen, that tastes nothing like its ingredients)*, Dulce de Leche, **Honey Tobacco(T)**, Orange Dreamsicle, Butterscotch, Amaretto,
White Chocolate Latte, Watermelon, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Chocolate Covered Cherries, Mocha Cappuccino,Caramel Macchiato, Wintergreen, Apple, Cherry.

FreedomSmokeUSA

Lots of people love them here on ECF, and I don't get why. I've given them ample opportunity to impress me, and with 2 exceptions, they haven't done it yet. I pick up a perfumy under-note in almost everything I've tried from them - you may not. The flavors, even when doubled don't impress me. I'm marking most of this section blue, because there are others out there that love this place, so for some folks they work. Vapor production was fine, but the flavors just don't deliver like I feel they should.
*Menthol Ultra (This is noteworthy because as a former Menthol smoker you may want to try this, it's the menthol flavor with no tobacco flavor)*, *Hypnotic Mist (Like Hypnotiq, the liqueur) CAUTION: The flavoring for this changed recently, I've not had any of the newest batch!*, Cherry, Cinnamon Ceylon, Cherry Cola, Fireball (cinnamon candy), Caramel Cinnamon Bun, Clove, Ginger, Spearmint, Florida Citrus, Tranquil, Mojito, Nuttella, New/Port (Newport flavor), Jungle Juice, AppleWood, Voodoo, Cherry Cola, Orange Crush, Tangerine,Max/Boro Ultimate Tobacco (marlboro flavor that tastes nothing like a marlboro, in fact in my opinion it was hideous).

Gourmet Vapors
Home of the Flavor generator! When ordering from here try to stick to the most popular, seeing as anyone can create a flavor and put it out there regardless of whether or not it's good. A little Steeping time required on most juices. PG/VG ratios are customizable, Double and Triple flavor options available.
**Seriously minty (Seriously the BEST Mint/Menthol I have had)**, Mimosa, Rum and Honey, Champagne Strawberry, Cherry Vanilla, XXX, S.V.-Razzleberry, *Shoe Queen's Honey's Mix*(Yes, this is my own concotion),*Shoe Queen's Champagne Bellini Dream* (Yes, this is my own concotion), Atomic Fireball Flavor, Chocolate Caramel Hazelnut Coffee, Egyptian Spice, Maiden Coffee!, Perique Blackberry (Blackberry Tobacco), Cherry Vanilla, XXX, Lauralee`s Famous Sassafras, Cinnamin Spice, *Bucks (coffee), Love of Hate, Ultimate Fruit Punch
NOTE: Some of these in Blue have only had a taste-test when they first arrived. After some Steeping time they may upgrade to a Green color.

Well, that's the start!

I am looking for "in your face flavor" for maple syrup/butter (waffles....etc) Caramel....milk chocolate. Basically sweet and true flavors.
Got any recommended suggestions????

Unfortunately, those flavors have still yet to impress me. I'll be adding more suggestions and reviews in the near future and will try to give you some options. :)

Hey great Blog!

I ordered some Vixen Juice "Espresso 2x" and "Strawberry Champagne 2x"

They both have a pretty strong chemical perfume smell to them and I am finding them hard to enjoy.

How long do you let your Vixen Steep? Anything you can suggest to help this juice?

thanks for any info!
