I figured I would mark a date when I got a new HH357 so I can go back and see how long it lasts. I got my Saturday the 24th of September and it is one really nice atty. I find it produces about as much vapor as my 801's and since it is smaller and I like the drip tips I am using for 510 I figured I would give it a try.
It is a 2.0ohm clocking in at 1.9ohms and I am vaping it on my Provari at 4.2V.

801 atty's when dealing with dripping and eJuice waste

I figured I would put in some information that I have found when dealing with 801 atomizers in a dripping configuration. I do not know if this works or is even a problem on other atomizers since I do not really use other configurations any longer.
My prior use was when using an 801 was once the flavor starts to go away I would just drip 3 more times and start vaping again. Over time you will get like a gurgling sound because there is a built up amount of eJuice left in the mesh area of the atty. I would then after a couple of hours take apart the unit and blow out the atty to clear the airways. I started realizing that this was wasting a lot of eJuice by doing this. I also noticed this while placing the atty upside down at night to let it drain. After messing around the other night while watching a movie and thinking of how the 801 atty's are designed with the mesh around the heating element it dawned on me. So I started testing a theory out. It has worked and now I do not waste any eJuice and I no longer have to blow out the unit every couple hours.
What I did prior to this was always set my pv (Prodigy V3) on its end so it would not leak out of the mouth piece, this is where it gets to my point. Do not place your pv on its end so it is pointing up in the air, this is just allowing the juice to soak into the lower areas of the mesh surrounding the heating element thus wasting juice. You can test this by doing the following. If you are in the gurgling phase hold your pv at a downward angle as if you were wanting to let the eJuice drain towards the mouth piece. If you have a good drip tip it has a lip around the inside of the tip so the eJuice will not just drain out of the tip. I also spin mine around in a circular motion while it is facing downward. I do not hold it straight down, just at an angle.
After doing this in between a vape take a vape off of the unit and you will notice you have flavor again. Continue doing this until the unit is no longer gurgling. You will have effectively brought all of that wasted eJuice back into the heating coil and used all the eJuice that was caught in the mesh.
I now place my pv on its side while not vaping so the eJuice does not fall towards the bottom and get wasted.
Hopefully this will provide some useful information for those that use the 801 for dripping. I know this will improve my eJuice life.

Continuing use of my 3.7 PS mod

I am now going on 3 weeks of using my Puresmoker V3 Prodigy at 3.7 and I have to say that so far it has been great. I can no longer even use pen style batteries anymore, they just do not produce enough vapor for me. I might pick up some 6v batteries in the next couple of days so that I do not have worry about finding LR atty as much.
I have a order of cartomizers coming in the next day or so and am looking forward to testing them out. I never liked cartridges but I hear good things from cartomizers. I want to try out both 510 and kr808's.
I am also still trying to find some other juices to try out. So far my favorite is Karma Scotch from Puresmoker. I have some stuff from FSUSA but it almost feels like it is making my throat dry, like cotton mouth. I have a couple of different mixtures to try out since I wanted to see what the difference of higher or lower vg/pg counts would taste and vape like.

Ok, going to sign off for now.
