About three weeks ago I was headed home from my job as a bellman/valet at about 11:30 pm. Finishing the last marlboro red in my pack I decided to pull into my local 7/11 to pick up a fresh pack for the next day. To my surprise there was a poster on the glass advertising an E-Cigarette:

NO Carcinogens
NO Second-Hand Smoke
One Cartridge=One Pack (hahahaha)
I had always wanted to try a PV but I didnt want to have to pay a lot and wait because of an online order. Turned out I could buy the PV, the charger, and 4 carts for $20. I figured I spend that much in 3 days on analogs (didnt call them analogs at the time) and bought it with
NO Expectations.
Took it home and while the flavor was definately not a marlboro red, I was really impressed with the TH and the vapor production. I could feel the nicotine in my veins and was instantly hooked. I knew vaping could be my escape vehicle out of my smoking prison.
Fast forward a few days later and I have only had a couple of cigarettes. I also am sick and tired of having to constantly charge the PV and I am ...... off about how the cart isnt really equal to a pack. The Xhale O2 from 7/11 was not for me. Off to the World Wide Web.
Here I find the greatest place in the world. A quick online search and I find the mecca of E-Cig information sites. I learn all about juices, great PV's, health issues, and about the mecca hating infidels at the FDA who wants to close down mecca and replace its vapor built walls with tar and smoke: evil: .
I cant stop reading and reading. My girlfriend and my drinking habit whine and moan, they get no attention. They just dont understand how much information is contained in mecca. I have converted so I must be strict in my studies. After several lessons from St. Newbie Thread and St. Wonderful World of Smoking Part 1-6,(are they called St.'s in Mecca, Could an admin help me out here?) I decided to pick up a Joye Ego and several juices.
I fell in love.
Using Highpings cart mod (basically cutting the polyfill in half lengthwize then filling a cart) and putting that sucker on my atty and impressive 650 MAh battery, I am in heaven.
There is only one time that I find myself smoking. If I ever feel a desire to smoke an analog and dont give my PV a chance. If I ever want a cigarette and hit my PV, the urge dissolves completely. I blow my huge tasty clouds and I think about how horrid smoking is. If I dont hit my PV I will have a smoke. Last weekend I drank pretty heavily and didnt give my PV a chance. I woke up on Sunday morning with a horrible sore throat (made me realize the VG sore throat is nothing) and I decided I was ready to quit for good.
I knew that I would be ready to commit to completely quitting sooner or later and finally the time had come. It has been two full days since I last touched a cigarette and I am DONE.
