2/10/11 - Grumpy

Not a happy camper today. It was a horrible day at work, enough to bring on the tears. So on my way home I think at least my orders should have arrived by now, that will cheer me up a bit. Nada!!! I know the mail was delivered because a couple pieces of junk mail made it, but nothing else. Not the Bloog order nor the V4L. Unbelievable! Both shipped on Monday and now it is Thursday. And I have nothing to vape. The carts I refilled just aren't cutting it -- maybe I hit the max they could handle. The juices have hardly any flavor. The only fresh ones I have left are those nasty Parlaments and 1 RY4 that tastes like peanuts. Yuck. So I've dug out one of the packs of smokes I had stashed in the fridge. I am very depressed.:( I'm also not happy with order turn around time... the first couple times they shipped Monday and arrived Wednesday. But having to wait a full week is a bit much. Right now I feel like forgetting this whole thing.

Hope you got your order today. I've been here and it sucks. I hate that I have to rely so much on mail order.

Hi Star - Just saw your other post that you got a package but not the complete order......so sorry about that.

So many of the prefilled cartos taste like crap to me. Within the first week I was ordering juice. Because I'm using auto batteries, I was a little nervous about filling cartos at first but I've been very careful and now have full confidence doing this---- haven't ruined anything yet.

I can say that I've found a couple juices (out of many) that are "doing it" for me, but it's a real quest to find them..... sample packs are good. I'm buying from US made-to-order vendors, which I feel more comfortable with. Believe me, it's WAY better than prefilled. It may cost more up front to find the right juices, but once You have that nailed down it will be way cheaper than prefilled. I've found that flavored tobaccos are better than plain tobaccos because you just never seem to get that analog taste in the plain tobaccos...... I'm also liking non-tobacco flavors way more than I thought I would. I have the same problem with flavors.....even if I like them, I want them stronger. I am now ordering extra flavor in some I have in regular strength already. Maybe when my taste buds adjust down the road I'll go back to the "weaker" ones.

You might think about trying to fill cartos - it's pretty easy, and I keep refilling the carto over and over until the flavor seems to be fading. Should save money in the long run.

Hang in there. If you have to cheat, do it - it's not the end of the world!!!

Thanks, I did get my order Friday finally! Maybe someday this will be a socially/legally accepted thing and we can just pick up what we need at any local store.

Hiya Lisa. I have been trying juices too, mainly because I know it would be more cost effective to refill blanks and used up prefills. Got a nice big bottle of WowBoy which is about 1/2 used up now. But even that isn't cutting it. Not sure if it has changed in over time or my taste buds have, but even in a fresh blank it tastes weak. And so do the other juices I've gotten from Gourmet Vapor.

And I'm with you in my preference for flavored tobaccos. Maybe because I haven't tried a non-tobacco one I liked yet. And V4L has not blessed me with their generosity as they have with other people they've sent lots of free samples to. And as I am typing I'm vaping the Waffle, which actually isn't horrible. Can't say I'll buy mass quantities of it, but its OK.

On a brighter note, along with the V4L pkg I also received my Bloog RY4 order. The birds are singing and the sun is shining again! I really love that product. Those MaxxFusion cartos are really nice. They will soon offer a sample pack so I can try their other flavors, which at the moment are very few. And they will start offering juices soon too. So I'll just hang in here with my meager stash until then.

And thanks for the encouragement. I feel bad that I fell off the wagon, but that's not unusual. At least this time I held on for several weeks and it is just one bump in the road.
