My Journey: 6 Days In

I am technically not new to vaping, I bought my first e-cig two years ago. Here is my story up til now:

Two years ago, I was shopping at a local flea market with a nonsmoker friend of mine. We came across a booth that belonged to a local who was selling e-cigs (ego) and her homemade juices. That was my first experience with an e-cig and I was fascinated enough to buy a starter kit and I got a bottle of juice thrown in with the deal. I didn't fall in love with any of the juices but liked them enough to go forward. I ended up with Black Cherry, don't know the blend, 12 mg nic.

Fast forward: I vaped, switched back to smoking, combined vaping and smoking, vaped, switched back to smoking.......on and on and on. Eventually, I used the e-cig to replace real cigs only when I couldn't smoke. I was disheartened and feeling guilty because I spent this money and had high hopes but it just wasn't enough for me.

I am a 39 year old mother, wife, school teacher. In August, I will turn 40 (GAAAAAAAA!!!!), I made a decision that I did not want to be a smoker anymore. Last year, I watched my father-in-law die from lung cancer (7 months from diagnosis to the end) and I was smoking through the whole thing. I have smoked, on and off, since around age 20. Of course, I did not smoke when I was pregnant for my two children and I have had probably 3-4 years total in that time that I didn't smoke.

In anticipation of the big four ohhh, I have been doing some research online. I started watching youtube videos and have enjoyed tiavapes and others and they have led me here to ECF. I went to my local shop last week and purchased an itaste vv3 and the nice young guy working there suggested that I use 20mg nic because I told him that what I had was just not cutting it. And HE WAS RIGHT, I am currently 6 days in with no cigarettes and have ordered more juices online (because local shops are soooo expensive).

So far I have tried:

Bayou Swamp Juices: Cajun Freeze "Juicy peach and strawberry with a chilly exhale" 20mg nic (yummy strong flavor that really hits)
Nilla Gorilla 20 mg a vanilla cream flavor--smooth and very vanilla: I really like this one in the morning and at night
Peppermint Patti, 10 mg nic exactly what it sounds like, chocolate and mint and although I love chocolate, I don't like vaping it

Mt. Baker Vapor: Thug Juice, 12mg nic-- I am so impressed with this stuff. Watermelon/grape jolly rancher flavor is what I get and the price is right.
Blue Moo, 12 mg nic-- Yum, just started this one about an hour ago and it tastes just like blueberry muffin batter to me. Really like and again great price.

Anyway, I really want a MVP next because I am constantly charging the itaste vv 3 and I want something that will last me all day as I get ready to go back to work.

So, 6 days into this new lifestyle and I am loving it. (Except for day 5--it was a rough one for me had some nasty withdrawals) When I started two years ago, I just didn't have the information I needed. Now I have tons of info at my fingertips and am looking forward to kicking this thing up a notch.

Thanks akgofast.

Edit: Changed my mind about Blue Moo--I don't think I can keep vaping it. It was good for a few hours and then I had to switch. Oh well. Maybe just a little too sweet or something for me.
