I'm a modder!

When I first started vaping, I told myself not to go crazy with all the bells and whistles of the huge array of mods available. My original though was that I wanted to use vaping to stop smoking, then I wanted to quit vaping. So, I bought a few cig a like 808's and was happy with that until I found this forum. The hounds were released and off and running I went! Since I already had 808 carts, I bought a few larger ego style batteries that were 808 threaded to keep things simple. I moved up to tanks and thought I was in heaven. Until I started reading about VV/VW mods.

I thought about it and said to myself, ok just buy a twist and see what they are raving about. So, I bought an Joyetech twist. Now I to make the decision to either buy adapters or just buy new 510 stuff. So I ended up buying some larger 510 cartos and a couple of tanks to fit the twist. After using it for a few days, I understood what the rave is about! It's so nice to slap a big tank on it and play with the voltages to get that perfect taste. That little twist got my mind set on buying a bigger and better mod.

I have been researching the VV/VW mods and was worried about stacking batteries and such. So, I bought a decent voltmeter so I could check and recheck everything if I were to take the plunge. I swayed towards a Vamo, but I didn't like the instructions saying "check the voltages directly after charging the batteries." I thought to myself, perhaps I'm getting too involved with this and maybe I should stick with my tried and true 808's. No fuss, no muss because everything works together. But that variable voltage stuff had me hooked.

Well I finally threw caution to the wind because last night I ordered an Evic and today I purchased a Smok Woo while I was having my juices mixed at my favorite flavor shop. Now I'm happily vaping away on my new Woo telling myself why didn't I do this sooner! A repeated comment I've read time after time on the forum.

So here I am not quite two months into vaping only and I've got an armful of mods and more coming in the mail. I've not saved a red cent and actually paid more for my vaping gear/supplies than if I would have continued to smoke cigarettes. But my health is thanking me, so that will be the price to pay and I don't mind much.

I suppose I'm like a kid with new toys. Hopefully the past 24 hour spending spree will give me what I need for awhile before another spending urge strikes. I will be receiving a bunch of DIY stuff next week, so that should will keep me occupied enough to keep me from perusing the stores for another mod or two or three...
