Ecto-C

Ecto-1 with a tangerine twist!

So after a handful of mixes I decided to release the "easy mix" version of this recipe. Check the Ecto-1 thread for a more detailed description.

All flavors were TPA with no steeping.

8% Lemon Lime
6% Hawaiian Tropical Punch
3% Tutti-frutti
3% Tangerine

If you find the citrus is too intense, you can lower the Lemon Lime by a few percent and leave it alone or add a small amount of sweetener, menthol, or koolada.

For an extra shot of orange drop the Lemon Lime to 7% and up Tangerine to 4%. That 1% is really all I needed to achieve a more orange flavor profile. Your taste buds may vary though ...

RWhyFu

All flavors used were TPA ... as always.

7% Asian RY4
5% Caramel Candy
5% French Vanilla
3% Whipped Cream

Smell: Very similar to my original RWhy4. tobacco leaf covered in caramel with a nice splash of vanilla. Just like the original, this blend smells very good as you vape it and will almost surely get positive feedback from those who are in the general direction of the aroma. Most of the comments I get seem to be that it smells like the greatest cigar in the world (without the smoke of course) ... and/or chocolate.

Taste: For me, I get a more traditional tobacco taste from this blend. Still mildly sweet but I think the tobacco base in this one sticks out a bit more than the original RWhy4. The French Vanilla and Whipped Cream help balance the back end of this juice without sticking out by themselves.

Overall I enjoy this one just as much as I do the original. If you're looking for a slightly stronger tobacco undertone, this might the one for you.

Tropic Breeze

All flavors were TPA using the hot water bath method for a mild quick steep.

5% Pineapple
5% Mango
5% Whipped Cream
3% Tangerine
2% Passion Fruit

Smell: A nice tropical fruit medley. The pineapple, mango, and tangerine can all be easily detected straight from the bottle and it makes me wish I was somewhere tropical with a drink in hand.

Taste: Honestly, the taste reminds me of a mouth full of Pez candy. The Pineapple is easily the first flavor detected by my taste buds and is well balanced by the other fruits in this blend. There is a natural sweetness to this juice but it's definitely not artificial or overly sweet. The whipped cream in this recipe has so far been interesting. While the cream doesn't really stand out by itself (may change with longer steeping times) it is definitely present and "weaves" through the fruit flavors and acts almost like a bonding agent for the fruit flavors.

The more I vape this recipe, the more it grows on me. Not as "in my face" as my Ecto blends that I'm addicted to but those type of juices aren't going to appeal to everyone anyways. For those looking for a more balanced and tropical fruit juice that will leave your mouth watering for a tropical cocktail ... this just might be what you are looking for!

Cola Gummy

All flavors were TPA using the hot water bath method for a mild quick steep.

9% Cherry Cola
5% Gummy Bear
0.5% Cotton Candy
0.5% Koolada

Smell: Very similar to the taste yet the cherry comes through a bit more.

Taste: Pretty spot on to the old Haribo Cola Gummys. Definitely a more intense flavor. The small amount of Koolada chills this recipe just enough to give an oh-so-slight coolness to the vape. (Think ice cubes)

Absolutely love this stuff!

Scutch - RWhy4 Reloaded

All flavors were TPA using the hot water bath method for a mild quick steep.

7% Double RY4
3% Butterscotch (some may want to adjust this lower)
3% Pistachio
3% Vanilla Swirl
2% Bavarian Cream
2% Caramel Candy
(Use Toasted Almond instead of Pistachio for a completely different flavor)

Smell: A vanilla custard with butterscotch. Smells a lot like Big Willie's Vanilla Custard.

Taste: A very complex hybrid between a RY4 and Vanilla custard. Before steeping you may get a more pronounced cherry note from the pistachio which many people have enjoyed. As this recipe steeps the flavors meld together into a sophisticated "darker" flavor. The tobacco is very subtle and most people won't even notice it's there. The Butterscotch is well pronounced in this recipe and "custardizes" this juice further. The vanilla and cream ads great balance to the darker notes of this recipe and helps smooth and lighten the taste on the back end.

Replacing the Pistachio with Toasted Almond changes this juice by a surprising amount. The "honey oat - like" (Think Honey Nut Cheerios or Cosmic Fog's Milk and Honey) flavor really shines in this mix and some people prefer this version over the Pistachio.

Since this recipe is so flavor-fully complex I constantly find myself tweaking it and getting something new out of it. You may want to play around with it as well as you decide which flavor profiles of this mix you want more of.

Either way folks ... there you go. This is the RWhy4 derivative that I have been using as an ADV for months now. It's gained some popularity with a few people locally who can't seem to get enough of it. For those of you who try it, I hope you enjoy. And remember ... vape on! :vapor:

Strawberry Cream Slide (Neapolitan ice cream)

All flavors were TFA, per usual.

Strawberry 4%
Vanilla Swirl 3%
Butterscotch 3%
Pistachio 2%
Bavarian Cream 2%
Caramel Candy 2%
Whipped Cream 2%
Sweet Cream 1%
Toasted Almond 1%

Smell: Strawberry ice cream with hints of cream and nuts.

Taste: Cream on the inhale with a delightful strawberry and vanilla ice cream on exhale. The almond, pistachio, butterscotch, and dark creams collide in this recipe to replicate a slight chocolate-like taste. This is a Neapolitan ice cream e-liquid with emphasis on the strawberry ice cream.

If you like The Standard - Tater ... you're going to be a VERY happy DIYer. :2cool:

134340 (Formerly known as Pluto)

Per usual, all flavorings are TFA.

Bubblegum 5%
Watermelon Candy 4%
Mint Candy 1%

Smell: I get a juicy watermelon bubblegum. I find it a very pleasing aroma.

Taste: On inhale you get a sugary sweetness on the tongue along with a slight coolness. On exhale you get a melon with bubblegum notes. On the back end there is a slight yet distinct mint flavor.

The taste is very similar to Space Jam's - Pluto, thus the name.

Strawberry Somber

All recipes are TFA usual, per usual.

5% Strawberry
4% Whipped Cream
4% Dairy Milk
4% Vanilla Swirl
2% SweetCream
1% Butterscotch

Smell: Light creamy strawberry with darker notes.

Taste: Slight sweetness on the tongue and light cream on the inhale. On exhale I get a medium strawberry mixed with deep dark cream and malted milk. The Whipped Cream in this mix really brings out the nice lighter cream at the top of inhale. The combination of Dairy Milk, Sweet Cream, Vanilla Swirl, and slight Butterscotch (I can't single out butterscotch in this flavor) give this a deep malted cream finish that seems to naturally wrap itself around the Strawberry on the back end.

Picture every light strawberry and cream flavor you've had and flip it on its head. This is truly a dark strawberry and cream flavor that you just don't see.

Imagine a strawberry milkshake blended into malt with whipped cream on top.
