Price gouging in the classifieds

i don't care about supply and demand. I think selling anything for more than a usa ecig maker originally charges for the item is taking advantage of the vendor. These are small business and not Apple or Microsoft

If you are a known profiteer of the classifieds, I will NOT sell to you.

Have to agree here . Not fair to the vendor or the buyer . Just wrong to take advantage of fellow forum members . And for all of you that do , shame on you .

I agree 110%. I can understand a little bit of profit....maybe. But taking advantage of others in the community earns you points in my disdain category.

I dissent.

It does not hurt the original business in any way, shape, or form.

If there is that much of a demand for their products they can raise their prices if they want to.

If there wasn't someone willing to buy an item at a huge markup then the sellers wouldn't be doing it.

Now, if these people are camping the suppliers sites just for that purpose, then maybe it is a little.... cold... but more power to them.

Nobody is being taken advantage of. The seller has an item someone else wants and is taking money the other party is willing to part with for it.

Do I or would I personally do this? No, I actually try to run coops to get people an even lower price on items, but in a way, that is screwing over the ecig shops too, because I am doing what they do for ZERO profit or pay....

Either way, if both the seller and the buyer are happy, then there is no issue.

As the title says , Your certainly welcome to your opinion , no matter how bad it is . If a seller overcharges for his item , and some noob wants one so bad , he just pays for it . Then that's wrong . All that does is enforce the idea of price gouging by some of the forum members . I will not deal with any of them , at any price . All this practice does is raise the price of certain mods , Darwins , GG's and similar . As an example , there is a GG and Ody in the claasy's right now that has a price of 900.00 REALY . Is he on crack , or trying to make a large profit ? I only hope that no one is dumb enough , to pay that . And that sir , is my opinion .

I agree with the OP completely however, we are not able to control capitalism. As long as someone is willing to pay the asking price, this will continue. I do get some pleasure watching someone trying to sell a $45.00 item for $100.00 and they start bumping their own post looking for buyers. I know that I will not contribute by purchasing anything that is obviously way overpriced. I wish that there was a way to inform consumers that they are being taken advantage of. All I can do is to offer products that I am selling for a respectable price and end the transaction knowing that I did the RIGHT thing so that I can sleep very well every night.
