buy Local This Holiday Season

Here is something to consider this holiday season. Support your local vendors.

If you are like me, you've had many friends and strangers alike ask you about your vaping experience. Many of them are particularly curious this time of the year because they are considering buying ecig kits for holiday presents.

Before you proceed in telling them about all of your favorite online stores, consider referring them to local vendors.

If you are fortunate enough to have a local brick and mortar store, like me, this is easy. If not, please think of all the local vendors who have online stores, and personally meet with customers upon requests. You'd be surprised to see how many of them are willing to do so. Whether meeting on a one-on-one basis, or at an organized local vape event, the advantages of personal interaction with vendors can be a blessing to both newbies, and experienced vapors.

Below is a response I posted to a comment on my very first thread. The member pointed out that my local vendor had higher prices. My personal experience made the slightly higher costs well worth it.

Here is why...
(FYI- I'm replacing the vendor name with "xyz" for the sake of not giving anyone too many plugs)

My atomizer is 3 months old, heavily used & works like the first day I bought it for $9.99.

Prices-
I do believe that "xyz's" prices are the same as their online store. I could be wrong, but am pretty sure.
With that said, xyzs juices are all pricey. xyz PVs & accessories are priced really well (as are Alan's). The Gold Band Atomizers alone make it worth the trip. My $9.99 atty is better, in my opinion, than any other 510 atty, or carto. It outperforms my dual coil cartos, & is going like a champ.

Service-
This is the "X Factor" when you find a good honest local vendor. I liken this dynamic to the kind of relationship one would have with a great local auto dealership service department. My local car dealership's service dept blows away the competition. They price match all local indie & chain auto service shops, offer genuine parts, no-hassle warranties, and in depth print outs of what you need & don't need fixed. They do this so that customers become so loyal that we buy our new cars there. They want your car to last forever, & have great resale value. This is why they educate you on how to maintain your car & save money.

Likewise, "XYZ" doesn't just sell you products. If you buy a tank atty, he'll blow out the primer with a modified air compressor, and then give you a tutorial (using a sample torn down atty) on how it's designed, & how to prep, clean it. You'll learn how to utilize maintenance patterns to prevent leaks, increase it's lifespan, & have a better vaping experience.

Bottom line-
The best thing about going to "XYZ's" B&M store is that you will decrease the odds of wasting time, money, & experiencing the frustration of trial & error with products that are new to you.
I went to buy a new 510 atty. Instead of selling me one, Alan inspected my old one, gave me a cleaning tip, & told me that I probably won't be needing a replacement for a couple of months.

I can buy 510 attys online for $2-$3 less. This, however, won't give me the experience of having a human inspect my atty, assertain variables affecting quality deterioration, & then helping make my next atty last longer. In the end, I am saving money, and, more importantly, having better Vaping experiences.

Finally-
You can actually try juice flavors there before you commit to buying.

That's just my opinion based on my personal experience. I know it's all subjective, & relative to the individual user experience.

I, personally, enjoy supporting local businesses when they meet my needs. Its just my thing to advocate supporting local community commerce.[/QUOTE]
