Starting the Post-Analog Journey

I smoked my last analog this past Wednesday. I'd play a funeral dirge for it, but the only things that "died" were those nasty cigarettes and the stench they left behind. I can't say that I'm at all upset over it. I started vaping thinking that I could save a little money and stealth vape at work or in my car when the weather is nasty. I didn't pick it up with the intention to quit smoking analogs entirely. Well, here I am almost a month later and the analogs are gone without so much as a shudder or a tear shed.

I consider myself fortunate because even though I've made the mistake of forking out money on a way over-priced kit, I've gained invaluable knowledge from the ECF and found a place where the support is phenomenal. Maybe what I know now will help point someone else in the right direction before they get frustrated with spending a ton of hard earned money on substandard products. I'm kind of stubborn and don't give up easily. Not everyone is like this, and a lot of people would've just gone back to analogs. I knew there had to be a way to continue this journey without breaking the bank and getting frustrated. I found it. This is it.

It's all starting to come together now. I bought a 510 PT, since I'm in front of my computer all the time. It's one of the best things I've ever purchased. I've got an eGo kit on order and I can't wait until it gets here! I've set myself up with plenty of juice to try and I'm picking out my favorites. I'm still tweaking the nicotine levels. I think this has been the hardest part for me. Right now I'm hovering between 18 and 24mg. I'm not craving an analog anymore, so maybe I'm on to something here. Even if I did break down and smoke an analog, I'd probably take one drag and snuff it out with disgust. The last one I smoked tasted horrible. It smelled horrible. It hurt my throat. The whole time I was thinking "I can't believe I used to like this"!

I bought perfume the other day. I almost never bought perfume before because deep inside my pointy little head I knew it didn't cover up the smell of cigarette smoke. Why waste the money on something no one will ever smell once I get out of the house? One person at work asked me if I quit smoking. Another one commented on the beautiful scent I was wearing and asked me what it was. For once I was without the shame of smelling like an ashtray, and it felt wonderful!

I'm thinking since I love my 510 PT so much, that when the eGo gets here I'll return these GreenSmoke kits and get some of my money back. I know I'm not going to get it all back, but even $200 would be better than nothing. I'm sure that I'll be very happy with the eGo. I just wish I could've found one in blue. Oh, well. There will be time for that later.

If you ever decide to order more eGo batteries, liberty-flights.com has eight colors to choose from (they have blue). They also have 900mAh batteries for $21.49. Electronic Cigarette - Batteries - Joye eGo Cignot.com is charging $24.00 for the 1000mAh eGo batteries. I'll probably order a couple more 900s from LF in a month or so (to have some backups).
