First Series of AIV Posts

Way to go AIV! I got an honorable mention in your contest and agree that the Mystic Mandalime is absolutely delicious.

I'm still fairly new to vaping and prefer coffee, tobacco, and non-fruit flavors. I've tried several fruit e-liquids but they just didn't feather my nest. I have had delicious DIY pear and watermelon but the Mystic Mandalime won me over instantly with it's smooth and clean flavor. Absolutely the best vendor fruit flavor I have tasted to date. I also got lots of vapor. Hopefully it foreshadows further success for you.

Date-?
Dark clouds gather over vapeland and a swirling storm throwing lighting bolts appears! Then a wormhole! Out of the wormhole endless rocking a strange blue byrd comes floating down as a perch appears in front of the the display. His odd beak opens semi-wide in a strange comedic grin and batting his eyes a far away sound emits from his frozen orafice. It sounds like a 1920 Gramaphone. Smooth Male crooning in vogue with the time comes forth accompanied by horns and violins:

"A picture in May from Sante Fe....
made me stop to perch!
I floated down to look around...
now I've ended up my search!
A couple of birds,
some written words
A firefly on a sphere!

It's not absurd......(violins swell)
dumb smitten herds that......
... a Vapelander just...cannot... resist!"

With a quick click the beak is closed and the violins are still ending the tune. He walks straight forward toward the golden bird in the display and with a quick byrd wink keeps walking until he walks right into the display and "POP" he's gone.

(The violins and horns hit a climax and slowly fade)

A roll of royal blue carpet appears and unrolls, slowly, slowly, until the last thin roll is flat and out pops an odd blue byrd. He flaps his wings and mounts, high, higher, highest until he is just above the crown of the Hill Giant. Carefully eyeing his targets, he gently starts to work his beak, pecking in the hair of the Giant but not hurting his scalp. Each peck is followed by an opened beak and an tiny drop of something falls onto the carpet until there are no more remove form the Giant's folliculies.

Looking downward
yardbyrd opens his wings and in a slow cork screw like motion begins to drift down to the many small specks at the end of the carpet. A perch -as usual simple wood, well polished and slightly stained with brown- appears out of no where. He looks down at all the tiny mice he has freed from the Giant's hair and starts to chirp, tweet, whistle and sing at them. They slowly move untilt they are in lines, two by two, and they jump onto the edge of the carpet. The Byrd lifts off his perch and starts rolling up the carpet with the tiny mice, unharmed, inside it. Then yardbyrd
lifts his head upward and says to the Hill Giant:

"I've plucked the mice from your scalp
and given them an odd blue house.
I hope your headache has subsided
like melting snow upon an alp

Yardbyrd
starts to move his beak in a circular motion; he slowly opens his wings and those paying attention can translate his Byrd singing:

"Oh tiny mice, by what device,
did you smote the giant's head?
Repeated thrice, and cool as ice,
please return from whence your fled"
The tiny mice jump onto the blue carpet and it starts rolling up, flute-like, tubular, then a massive roll.

The blue byrd releases a heavy sigh (along with some steam) and again chirps out what those paying attention can translate into:

"Oh tiny mice, take my advice
the Hill Giant is your friend.
No farther pain, will be your domain
or Vapeland will call you louse!
You little critters do not fritter
upon your lost cause!
Back to your father, oh the bother!
regard to the doormouse!

The byrd jumps onto the carpet roll and with a might caw....*poof* he the mice, and the carpet dissapear.

Flap and glide. Flap and glide. The odd blue byrd is taking a ride.
Mid-height above Vapeland he looks for the curious cat with the green crown but does not see her. He can see new Vaplandians as they revel in the sweet mists of the land. The giant one is there, a cheshire cat, a Ktcat, and of course Alice herself.
He continues to glide downward, those strange webbed feet reaching out into nothingness, and then grasping a perch that has materialized on the ground where he now lights.

Good day to all! Today a quotation to tickle your whimsy:

"anyone lived in a pretty how town
(with up so floating many bells down)
spring summer autumn winter
he sang his didn't he danced his did

Women and men(both little and small)
cared for anyone not at all
they sowed their isn't they reaped their same
sun moon stars rain

children guessed(but only a few
and down they forgot as up they grew
autumn winter spring summer)
that noone loved him more by more

when by now and tree by leaf
she laughed his joy she cried his grief
bird by snow and stir by still
anyone's any was all to her"
-anyone lived in a pretty how town by E. E. Cummings

Hopping off the perch his webbed right foot hits the ground and continues to sink, followed by, the blue feather legs. He raises his wings and lifts his head as they slowly descend until his funny looking head pauses in the sinking, gives a wink, and sinks down out of sight melting away into the very ground of Vapeland.
