Dark clouds have gathered above Vapeland and high, high above the ground, gentle rain begins to fall. Beneath the rain a rainbow appears and as the droplets of water hit the rainbow the colors run down to the soil and form colored pools each one a color of the rainbow.

A large stainelss steel door with hasp like external hinges appear and an old, white haired man, wearing horned rimmed glasses comes out of it carrying an oddly shaped glass mold and a Cornucopia like basket; the small end of the basket forms a circular opening. Walking forward he glances sternly at the ground and a perch appears and he says, " You can't work for an employer like mine without learning a few tricks of your own."
He produces a syphon, from somehwere, and going to the blue colored puddle syphons it up, takes it to the perch, and fills the mold with the color of blue.
He walks back to the stainless steel door, opens it, and just before he exits he flings the Cornucopia basket over his left shoulder in a high arc; it's still aloft when the door closes behind him and fades away. The sound of shattering glass can be heard as

breaks free of his mold and holds his beak, tightly shut straight up, and catches the basket, as it makes a neat fit over his bill. A voice can be heard coming from the large end of the wicker weaving.

"Greetings Vapelandians! A special hello to morri this morning. I come, again, to offer a bit of poetry to enliven Vapeland and spur the imagination of it's denizens:

"He said 'I look for butterflies
That sleep among the wheat:
I make them into mutton pies,
And sell them in the street.
I sell them unto men,' he said,
'Who sail on stormy seas;
And that's the way I get my bread -
A trifle if you please.'

But I was thinking of a plan
To dye one's whiskers green,
And always use so large a fan
That they could not be seen."
Father William -Lewis Carroll

bows his head and the basket falls off his beak to the ground. He nods again and the basket flips over the large opening facing the sky that is now streaming sunshine through the breaking clouds and causing a soothing shimmering effect on the remaining colored pools

Leaping from his perch without even one wing flap that odd blue byrd jumps into the open end of the wicker weaving and sinking into it the large opening closes like and aperture as they fade out of existence.

"So, boy, you probably want to know what the color orange taste like and how high goes the sky, as well? There is no knowing that comes before understanding, and no understanding that comes before wondering. If everything that is was known and understood, then there would be no reason for wondering, therefore, no reason at all for your very existence.

A loud pop is heard and yardbyrd tumbles into being rolling down the sky until he spreads his wings and glides lightly to the soil next to the table set for tea where a perch appears and he lands squarely on it those odd webbed talons grasping it tightly.

Opening his beak, sans translator, his cry is unmistakable and clear:

"CAW-AWE!"

With a quick wink he opens his beak in the endearingly strange pose of an umistakable smile and pulling the top of the perch upward he flies aloft as the shaft of the perch grows longer and longer until he releases it and the sound of a ball leaving a chute from a pinball machine is heard. He starts to roll across the sky, faster and faster until he resmbles a pinball ball and striking a fluffy cloud de-atomizes into a cloud of blue vapor that slowly rises and dissapates into the heavens.
