    Default PCC Battery Charging

I did search for this answer, but I have one of the newer style PCCs and am not sure when they hit the market so some of the search results may no longer apply.

I got my first Bloog today. I did read the directions but I am a bit confused about charging the PCC case battery for the first time. The instructions show a picture called "PCC Battery Charging Condition" that seems to indicate that the PCC case, absent a battery charging simultaneously, uses the entire bar graph to indicate a full charge. My back light and the graph are turning off before the entire bar graph is showing.

While I'm at it, are there any "battery memory" issues I need to be mindful of with the PCC battery and the Bloog batteries? Will I hurt my battery charge-life if I don't disconnect them as soon as they are fully charged? I have senior memory disorder. I can remember what happened 40 years ago but can't remember what I went downstairs for by the time I hit the bottom step. I can be counted on to forget I have a battery charging.

    Thank you!

the pcc turns the led off to save power. so it could still be charging if you see a blank screen.

and there shouldn't be any memory issues in bloog products. or maybe there are, i can't seem to remember.

I leave it plugged in charging for days at a time sometimes. I've not had an issue.

i think up to a certain point is ok, but more than say 24 hrs might adversely affect the battery.

and yes my LED turns off too but its still charging.

if you really want to drive yourself crazy google Lithium Ion battery care. youll find all types of do's and don'ts that will positively make you go "batty". :P

The circuit stop charging the battery after it's fully charged.
Also li-ion batteries don't suffer from memory effect.
Other battery types, like NiCd, have that issue.

Okay, great! Thanks for the responses everyone. I've been using the Bloog since yesterday and this has been, by far, my most pleasant vaping experience. Never liked the flavor in a carto until now and it's great not to have to lug around my 1200 mAh batteries, drip shield, bottles, spare atomizers and whatever else my OCD tells me I need an emergency back-up for when I go away from home. Can't believe the vapor production with this thing!

    Welcome to the club.
Also have a bunch of other stuff, including mods and VVs, and occasionally do some dripping.
But for MY tastes, and taking into account all the factors that make up the complete experience, nothing beats the maxxfusion.
But nothing is perfect, and there's always room for improvement. I'm waiting to see what Leaford is up to...

Thanks for the welcome. I am going to have to exchange the PCC. It's not lighting up at all for anything except plugging in and then won't respond to the button being pushed. Oh well, it's bound to happen occasionally.

Still love the experience though. My mom and I think this might be just what it takes to get my sons, my daughters-in-law and my sister to actually give it a go and become non-smokers. They all balked at both the messiness and the appearance of my other vaping equipment. My brother-in-law even told me I reminded him of the Alice In Wonderland caterpillar every time he saw me vaping on the other stuff.

Feel free to contact CS abot that Kyana, but first, are you holding the button down? You have to push and hold the button for 3-4 seconds to enter charging mode. When you do the LED on the end of the e-cig battery should light up and stay lit until it is finished charging.

Yeah, I did push the button and hold it down. No lights since it initially charged the PCC battery. The lights actually went out before the PCC battery was fully charged during the initial charging. I've contacted CS already. Thanks :-)
