Same here. I think we're with you, just share a few details with the troops.

Absolutely.
Health claims are FDA catnip. As much as I'd love to post (all over our sites) that I quit a 2pack-a-day habit and can now walk up two flights of stairs (some days, three - but no one likes a showoff) without falling to my knees and screaming for people I never met...I know I can't, so I don't.

You're PRODUCING these devices? If you are producing them, that would make sense as to why you're replacement batteries are so expensive. But, I didn't (and still don't) think any American company is producing these batteries.
Whoa...methinks the lady (might?) protest too much -
The quote from our site is:
"Another unique thing about e-cigarettes is that unlike the tobacco industry, which is dominated by a few large corporations (Altria, which owns Philip Morris, produces half the cigarettes in the US), some smaller firms have been able to produce and market these devices. E-CigaretteSales.com is one of those companies."
E-CigaretteSales.com isn't a manufacturer, however we DO market the e-cigs with offices in several countries. While our business was started in the US, we are actually operating in several international markets. Each with their own PITA requirements and government guidelines.
We see a whole host of issues related to international freight forwarding, custom house brokerage and dealing with federal agencies that your average US shipper doesn't. Our arrangements with Chinese manufacturers allow us to order in bulk and have tighter QA controls. Our 510s are OEM from Joyetech and we sell them all over the world.
We've LONG been a proponant of reverse engineering these devices (a la Lexus vs. Mercedes?) with a US apple pie seal of approval. No offense to the screwdriver folks, but part of the attraction to me has always been NOT to stand out in a crowd. Nothing would make me happier than for this whole FDA mess to go away so a US manufacturer and lab could make e-cigs here at home.
That gratutitous pontification aside, you are absolutely correct that the line is misleading at best and I will remove it right away. (It's good to be the webmaster...)
We're on the same side kiddo.

Hey... we are ALL in the same boat. We all know what is TRUE... Just have to leave it up to others to find out for themselves. Maybe this is what truly makes us all so faithful to our e-cigs... no one tells us it will have the affect on us it does... and then it does! God I love my ecig. Where was it 15 years ago when I picked up my first smoke!?!
PS: Glad to have you Webby... the more suppliers the merrier!

I went to the link under another thread Lacy and watched it. It is exceedingly hopeful to have someone with some political clout (we hope) be involved. Thanks for all of the hard work.
